As one of the oldest streets in Derbyshire, the properties on the street all enjoy grade II listed status and as a result it is largely popular with both visitors and locals.
Wirksworth is full of the charms of a Derbyshire Peak District town. It has the famed High Peak Trail, Ecclesbourne Valley Steam Railway, The Stardisc in Stoney Wood, The National Stone Centre and the Heritage center/tourist Information. Within close proximity to the house there are many hiking trails and walks to suit all abilities and there is the opportunity to enjoy outdoor pursuits such as mountain biking, cycling and rock climbing .
