Stunning place - don’t ever book with Vrbo
Tried to book this cottage via Vrbo app. Wouldn’t accept payment, and got into a death spiral - the app and website is utterly useless - points you towards Hoseasons and Cottages.com - called them and they didn’t recognise Vrbo booking code - pathetic system and I feel sorry for the poor agents on the phone who have to put up with this crap. The cottage location was stunning - probably the best views of any cottage we have ever booked - the views from the garden were unbelievable. The cottage itself was great for the two of us, apart from the dishwasher not being fixed to the cabinets and the freezer not freezing ( to be fair the managing agent did tell us this when we got there by phone but didn’t respond when we tried to mention the dishwasher problem). All the facilities were great for two, apart from a dirty bath sheet and scabby bath mat - no excuses. But the location is stunning which overrides everything but if I had more time I would have made a real issue of problems we found.
