Formerly a farm steading sensitively converted to provide a small cluster of prestigious stone-built cottages the quality and location of Bramble Barn is sublime.  The immaculately presented lounge features a lovely stone fireplace where the cosy wood-burning stove is idyllic to gaze into and watch the flames dance after a day exploring the stunning Northumbrian coastline close by. Floor to ceiling windows gives the living space a bright and airy ambience and a patio door leads to the fully enclosed patio garden; a perfect spot to watch the sunrise or dine alfresco and admire the open views towards the sea and Holy Island beyond.  The contemporary dining kitchen has many integrated appliances and is very well equipped.  Both double bedrooms (one en-suite) are tastefully furnished and positioned on the first floor along with the family bathroom.

Bramble Barn is a really lovely cottage, just across the A1 at the bottom of the road and you are on the causeway road that leads to Lindisfarne causeway. It is a really comfortable place to stay, well equipped just bring food. There is a lovely surprise when you walk into the living room, just look out and see what you can see. We spent a week at Bramble Barn and found it to be a great base to explore Northumbria from. We have a lovely time and would go back.
