Needs a little TLC

Location wise, this is perfect, very central in Windermere and ideal for Bowness. Parking is ok, but can be tight as the locals park there as well (as is there right of course) Getting in was easy. Heating and hot water - once you have read the instructions it’s ok but heating went off twice and took a while to figure out how to sort it. Bed - hmmm, it’s down to personal taste but the mattress was not the best and take your own pillow, mine was like a brick. Needs a new bath. Shower was good. Lots of cobwebs. The handle at the top of the staircase is loose and dangerous - that really does need sorting. Now that all sounds very negative but dont be put off, it is a lovely cottage, rustic and authentic and right in Windermere
