Casa Conti 1840 is located in Achilleion Gastouri, in one of the most well-known locations in Corfu. Casa Conti is a piece of history itself. Once served as a hotel, lodging statesmen and merchants even before Achilleion was constructed. The famous Austrian painter and sculptor Franz Matsch, who painted the Triumph of Achilles in 1892, also painted the Veranda of Casa Conti. The painting has been preserved and the owners have made postal cards for their guests.
