Stone Post Estate, your favorite B&B, has renovated to a 5 bedroom, 5 bath villa that has been lovingly crafted with the guest in mind. (Rates are adjusted for # of rooms/guests-please reach out for adjusted cost). PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ONLY BOOK TO ONE PARTY AT A TIME SO YOU WILL HAVE FULL PRIVACY.

Situated on 1.5 acres of tropical gardens, Stone Post maximizes the ocean views of Hart Bay and Chocolate Hole, the rising and setting sun, and the fabulous Caribbean breezes.

Our newly renovated Great Room has everything you could possibly need to to enjoy your day to day plans, whether they be cooking extravagant meals or preparing a quick snack. If you can drag your eyes away from the stunning ocean views, there is a lounge area with television, furnished comfortably with plenty of seating for everyone.

With a large front porch sitting & dining area, an indoor dining area and a large pool deck with outdoor kitchen, you have many choices of where to dine.

Each of our bedrooms has been tastefully decorated and furnished with your needs in mind to ensure you are lulled to sleep each night after a relaxing day on the beach or lying by the pool.

Our stunning travertine pool deck boasts a fabulous 55' fresh water lap pool and Thermo-Spa hot tub with room for 8. Sit under our pool deck gazebo overlooking Hart Bay, recline on one of our pool side loungers, float in the pool or grill at the outdoor kitchen. The back yard alone is your private oasis.

We happily provide guests with beach towels, beach chairs and coolers .

Cruz Bay shopping and restaurants are only an easy 5 minute drive away. Beyond the tiny town an island of fabulous beaches and hiking trails invites your exploration. Every Stone Post Estate guest finds a unique and happy way to use it all for a delightful experience and memories to cherish.

Best Stay On ST JOHN

We have stayed at other properties on St John in the past, but will come back to Stone Post Estate only on our future visits. It was by far the cleanest, best appointed home we have visited. Everything we ever needed was at our fingertips. The communication from the owners and property manager was excellent from before booking to our departure. They truly have thought of every small touch to make your stay enjoyable and worry free! Thank you so much! Cheryl P

Outstanding !

Everything was perfect for our 4 night stay in the Cloud Room. Patti gave us excellent driving directions after we opted to sight see before checking in. The room was immaculate and had gorgeous views! The king bed was really comfortable and the hot tub offered nice sunset views after a few busy days snorkeling at Trunk Bay and Maho Bay. We met the nicest other guests, but always found our own peace and quiet, too. Thanks for the morning coffee and fresh breakfast! Don’t hesitate to stay here...you won’t be disappointed!

Great views

This was our second stay at Stone Post Cottage, one pre- and now post-hurricane. The new owner Lisa was attentive and emailed us to make sure we arrived and departed without any problems. Patti the caretaker and breakfast maker is friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Cloud room which has the best view on the property. It is large and clean with a large private deck. We took our breakfast there every morning. The pool is clean and well kept, and the property is well landscaped. We have been coming to St John for 20 years and hope to stay at Stone Post Cottage in the future.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing Place to Stay!

This beautiful bed and breakfast is more than we imagined it would be! The incredible views will take your breath away. Stone Post Estate is located above Chocolate Hole, which makes for a perfect location. Easy access to all of the North Shore Beaches and Cruz Bay shopping and dining. Now let me tell you why we will book our next trip to St John, based on the availability at Stone Post Estates. Lisa and Patti’s hospitality is unparalleled. They made sure that all of our needs were met, while making us feel at home. We also felt as though we were staying in our on private villa! Very private and serene. We stayed in the Cloud Room with it’s private outdoor shower and wrap around deck. Loved the hammock! The pool is huge! Great for doing laps or just floating. Loved the jacuzzi under the stars, while enjoying a glass of wine, as well! We look forward to returning soon! Thank you so much Lisa and Patti! You two are stunning!

Location with a view

This was our first visit to the island and I feel like we hit the jackpot with StonePost. Lisa and Patti are more than hosts, they truly treat you as a guest putting you first. Here are a few things we loved: - Patti meeting us in Cruz Bay to lead us to the house, what a nice touch and warm welcome - Breakfast catered to us and available when we were ready - The house is very well maintained, clean, well taken care of and just gorgeous, love the fresh paint - the jacuzzi was a great way to end the day gazing at the night sky, totally geeked out because you can multiple planets - nice outdoor kitchen area which we enjoyed and used a few times - loved the bathroom fixtures in the cloud room, so unique and just a nice touch - the bed and linens are on par with a 5 diamond resort, in other words amazing Before we left we decided we would be back. Thank you again for everything.

Amazing!!!! A must see!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Stonepost. The home had everything we needed. The manager Patti was wonderful. The owner Lisa was fantastic in keeping in close touch to assure we were happy. We have been to St. John several times and I would highly recommend staying at Stonepost!!!

Amazing Property!

My wife and I spent a long anniversary weekend here and loved it from start to finish. Beautiful home with amazing views which we enjoyed from The Cloud Room and the huge pool and deck area. Patti the property manager made sure we were well taken care of with breakfast each morning and insightful tips about the island. Along with the complimentary breakfast, they provided beach chairs, coolers, refrigerator and grill for our use. Additionally, Lisa the property owner checked in with us throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome in their home. We will definitely return.

Beautiful! Relaxing! Great Location!

Stone Post Estate exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful inside and out. We stayed in the Cloud Room which was bright, airy and clean. Gorgeous views of the hills and water from the deck. A refreshing pool and hot tub welcomed us home after a hard day at the beach. Ample books, beach chairs and coolers etc to make the trip even more enjoyable. Conveniently located five minutes from Cruz Bay yet away from all the hustle and bustle, Stone Post and its three separate, very private rooms is perfect for a couple as well as a larger family occupying multiple rooms. Patty, the on-site manager, prepared a great breakfast spread every day and answered any questions/provided sage local advice. On a more general note about STJ - I think the island looks fabulous as the recovery continues. Obviously there are many houses still in the rebuild faze and you will see spots where natures green has not fully returned, but the beaches are a gorgeous as ever, most businesses seem to be open, and the locals are extremely appreciative to have visitors again.

Gorgeous property - great location - wonderful hosts

Lisa went above and beyond in communicating prior to and during our visit to Stone Post Estate. The property is lovely, set up high enough that you have two bay views. The cloud room was well appointed with comfy places to sit, a nice soft bed, and a great shower with a Dutch door you could open to get an ocean view while standing under the hot water. The pool is huge and beautiful, we loved having the hot tub to relax in after hiking. It was a great stay, we will definitely come back to Stone Post in the future!!

Amazing!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Stone Post Cottage. The first impression was great: ocean view, amazing pool, awesome garden full of colorful flowers. The Cloud Room is very clean, stylish, roomy and quiet. The bathroom and the shower are fantastic! Lisa is a careful owner: we never met but she contacted me a few times before my arrival to give me all important information and understand our necessities and requests. Patti, the manager, is an extremely nice person, very warm and open to any requests. We couldn't have a better stay in St. John, we feel very lucky we found this place. Thank you Lisa and Patti! Heaven on Earth!

The Stone Post Cottage Estate is a quaint and chic little gem on the magnificent island of St. John! I recently stayed solo in "The Cloud Room"... It was heaven on earth! I absolutely loved the beauty, comfort, and peaceful serenity of this private estate. The Stone Post Cottage is located in a nice, safe residential part of St. John and is a convenient short drive from Cruz Bay, two gas stations, and two markets. There is a magnificent pool/hot tub on the property and beautiful gardens to meander through and examine the unique variety of subtropical plants. I was traveling solo, so I did not take advantage of the outdoor kitchen or bar, but it is definitely a great feature for entertaining multiple guests. I found the coolers a great asset to have in the jeep while exploring the many beaches and hiking trails throughout the day. The panoramic views of the bays and sky from the property are spectacular! I enjoyed gazing at the stars and the Milky Way from the pool at night as well as the private patio hammock! The beautiful stone architecture and shutter woodwork of the estate lends a feeling as if you are in a Mediterranean villa. The cottages are built separate, surrounding the original house. What I admired the most was the magnificent shower in the cloud room! It incorporates the stone, natural elements of shells and coral, as well as historical artifacts of sea glass and danish pottery mosaics. The Dutch doors open to the private patio for that outdoor shower feeling as you are gazing out to the sea and sky! The owner and manager of this property are genuinely accommodating, friendly, and informative. This is the perfect place for adventurous solo travelers, couples, or even small groups of friends or families if renting multiple cottages. If you are looking for a quite peaceful home away from home, this is the place to stay while on St. John! The only drawback from my stay is that it was less than a week and my next trip to St. John and The Stone Post Cottage will not be soon enough! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did! Honeymoon on St. John

We stayed in the cloud room for our honeymoon and loved it! The complex is beautiful from the views to how the room is decorated. We loved the pool and the grill and grilled one meal a day. The location was perfect because we were close to Cruz bay for food and entertainment, but removed just far enough to enjoy a quiet evening. Patti and Elise were super helpful in terms recommending activities on St. John and also helped make sure we had a clean and comfortable living environemnt! I wouldn't stay anywhere else on St. John after staying here!

loved the cloud room

the property was as advertised...the manager Patti was excellent..loved her. there is a serious problem with access to the property...The entry road is washed out and lined with large sharp rocks...my daughter who was our means of transportation...had a large hole torn into her tire..costing her $250.00. She was no longer able to provide transportation for us. Taxi cabs refuse to come up the road..neccessitating our making our way down this very dangerous road to meet them. Would love to return to this property if repairs are made to the access road

Slice of Heaven

I can't say enough wonderful things about Stone Post! The amenities include everything you need and the ladies are so accommodating. The property is meticulously kept and so beautiful. We will no doubt be back to our new favorite vacation spot.

Excellent Value, Convenience and Amenities

We stayed in the Cloud Room and it was great. View was spectacular. The best part was showing while looking at the ocean. Huge pool and new hot tub. Patti the Manager is very personable and gives you great service and local insight. Renting a jeep is a must at this location but it is nice being close to Cruz Bay but far enough for this to feel like a secluded oasis.

Peaceful Retreat

We spent 6 nights at the Cloud Room for our honeymoon in late May/early June. The whole Stone Post Cottage and the Cloud Room were beautiful and peaceful. We loved that the room reflected the island in its architecture. The pictures on the site accurately reflect the room itself. Patti, the on site manager, was absolutely wonderful. Due to delays/missed connections, we ended up not arriving on St John until almost midnight rather than mid-afternoon as we had planned. Despite the late hour, Patti met us at the dock and led us to the cottage. She also had some great recommendations of things to do during the week. The views from the room were fantastic, and the available coolers and beach chairs were super helpful. We can't wait to come back!
