About this property
Stunning Period House ❤️ Close to Beach & Harbour ❤️ Patio Garden ❤️ Sleeps 6
A beautifully renovated 3 bed home in the heart of the English Riviera. Nestled in a quiet, set-back location, with views to Dartmoor. The fresh Boho-Scandi style compliments this period property perfectly and allows the high ceilings and original features to shine. A mere 5 minute stroll down to the town and you can access all that Torquay has to offer, with a roof level patio garden, this is the ideal place for families and groups wanting the quintessential British seaside getaway.
THE SPACE
This home has recently been fully redecorated throughout, with new furniture in all rooms. The mattresses are hotel quality, including those on the bunk beds, meaning this room would be comfortable for both children and adults alike. The space feel very airy and fresh with white walls, soft furnishings in neutral colours and splashes of brightness in the pictures and accessories.
Wooden floorboards on the ground floor provide a modern and clean finish, whilst upstairs is carpeted, ensuring the bedrooms remain cosy. The fireplaces are decorative only and you should not attempt to light a fire in them.
The bathroom is suitable for families, with both a bath and shower.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
Torquay is famously referred to as the English Riveria, with its tropical palm tree lined promenade, stunning beaches and buzzing nightlife, but there is plenty more on offer. An array of boats trips to explore Devon's diverse sea life, traditional and trendy new eateries that satisfy all tastes and beautiful countryside surrounding the whole of Torbay make this the ultimate destination for a UK break.
GUEST ACCESS
There is no parking directly outside the home, however, free parking on the streets surrounding Grafton Terrace is always available.
The property is situated in the historic hills of Torquay harbour on a steep hill, and although it is only 5 minutes down the road to town, the journey back is harder going. Taxis at the bottom of the road are more than happy to drop you back for a small fee. However, the elevated position of this renovated Victorian property in the heart of old Torquay affords a peaceful stay and wonderful views across to Dartmoor.
Please always access Grafton Terrace via the entrance adjacent to Braddons Street.
ON ARRIVAL
We provide a welcome pack of refreshments to get you started, including mini hotel style shampoo and shower gel, soap, and rolls per stay.
