Bad joke
Once the reservation was made, we phoned in the morning before going to the rented apartment to give our arrival time (we were 2 adults and 2 newborns) and that's when we learned that the reserved rental is not available because the previous tenants ransacked the apartment. Complicated to be reimbursed for in the end ending up with VAT costs when we are not aware of the cancellation. I will find it hard to trust HomeAway again as the customer service is not up to par. These costs are still not reimbursed despite our complaint.
