Short Break Away

We chose Lilypad Cottage for a short break away between Christmas and New Year and we could not recommend it highly enough. We found from the easy checking in until we left a real home from home experience and found everything we needed there and exceptionally clean, the added bonus was the location which is a short car ride to the beach and town and a short stroll from the cottage to Ringwood Market town.

Really lovely house, everything we needed

The house is absolutely lovely, really clean and has everything you could want. It’s really close to the centre of Ringwood - a short walk. Anthea was very helpful and the welcome pack was such a nice touch. Highly recommended!

Great near town location

This is a small modern cottage located at the end of the marketplace in Ringwood. You can leave the car and walk into town and I even walked to catch my National Express coach back to the airport, it was that close! You are also within a very short distance of the Castleman Trail which is a popular walking and cycling route. So if you want to walk your dog or to go for a cycle ride you are extremely close. This is one of my dog's favorite walking spots! This is a clean, bright and safe spot to stay!

I live in Ringwood with my family. We love to spend time walking or cycling in the New Forest. We also love to visit the local beaches for kayaking or walks with our dogs, some of which are dog friendly all year round. Another favourite time to go is at sunset.
During your stay, I live 5 minutes away from Lilypad so can be available if needed. I am happy to provide you with information on places to visit if you need any suggestions.

Why they chose this property

I am proud to say there are so many beautiful places to visit in this area. There are many outstanding restaurants overlooking the coast, and in the New Forest, where horses roam freely. You are a short drive away from either. Bournemouth is 15 minutes by car, Salisbury is 30 minutes by car. Bus routes are available. Lilypad is walking distance to the bus station. There are plenty of places for families to visit in the area.

What makes this property unique

We are a short stroll from the town centre, where there any many cafes, restaurants and shops, many dog friendly. We have a cycle route behind the property which takes you through miles of off road flat cycling. Moors Valley is a great family day out. Within 15 minute drive you will either be at the Coast at Bournemouth or Christchurch beaches, or the New Forest National Park.
