In the heart of the popular fishing town of Amble. This cosy abode is a studio cottage and is charming and quirky yet extremely comfortable providing the perfect getaway for couples to enjoy.. All on the Ground Floor:

A pretty, 1600’s stone-built studio cottage (annexe) The Old Wash House is a charming abode offering two guests a homely base on the wonderful Northumberland Coast. Be charmed by the quaint interior, with exposed stone walls and beams with many characterful features lovingly restored. A neat kitchen area holds an electric oven and gas hob, as well as a fridge and a microwave, amongst plenty of cupboard space for two. A breakfast area offers a clever use of space and somewhere to enjoy some home-cooked meals when you’re not dining out in the local pubs.
A snug living area is the perfect spot to cosy up in front of the TV watching one of your favourite films. Completing the layout is the bedroom area occupying a large double bed and the bathroom with a walk-in shower, basin and toilet and a heated rail to keep your towel toasty. The property features super fast 330mbs Wi-Fi, ideal for those who need to keep in touch with work.
Enjoy summer evenings with your travelling companion around the fire pit in the luscious garden, this is a beautiful space with lawned and paved areas. It will also get the paws up from your furry friends! The owners live nearby and are happy to help with any questions you have and any assistance you may require.

Head to the RPSB reserve of Coquet Island to discover puffins, terns, and eider ducks, and take a boat ride around the island to see it from a unique perspective, while wildlife lovers will also relish the chance to explore the Hauxley Wildlife Discovery Centre and birdwatching opportunities are prominent at Druridge Bay. 6 miles North brings you to the quaint town of Alnmouth, a popular coastal village known for its excellent 18-hole golf course and its charming cycle routes. Stop off at one of the blissful beer gardens and soak in the glorious scenery.
Further afield brings you into the thriving market town of Alnwick with its medieval Castle and outstanding natural beauty. Alnwick Castle has been featured as a filming location in a variety of films, including Harry Potter and Downtown Abbey. Alnwick has various other tourist hotspots including Barter Books and the Magical Treehouse. Another main attraction is the Alnwick Gardens with its stunning landscaped gardens, the famous poison garden, and impressive waterfalls. Hulne Park is the perfect choice with 3,000 acres of pretty Parkland, Gothic tower, and breath-taking views. In the midst of the park, you will find a Priory, Brizlee Tower, and The Abbey - an explorer’s paradise.
