Just a 2-minute walk from Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery, in the prestigious Santa Croce district, our aparment is located on the second floor without a lift (35 steps) of a typical 17th century Florentine building, in a quiet alley next to the famous Via de 'Neri, in the beating heart of the historic city center.

Stepping into the apartment, you pass through a bright hall that opens to the living area of the house, consisting of a fully equipped kitchenette, where you can prepare and enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner every time you want, and of the living room furnished with a big wooden table and a sofa . THE DISTRICT
The apartment, located in the city center, allows you to live the true soul of Florence staying a stone’s throw from Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza Duomo, museo del Bargello, Piazza Santa Croce.
We are in a small alley, Via Osteria del Guanto, beside to the more famous Via de’ Neri. Already attested in the 17th century, the name of the street originates by the presence along its stretch of a ancient tavern, owned by the Bernardini del Guanto family, that had a golden glove in red field as coat of arms.
This little quiet pedestrian street, paved with flagstone and with residential character, goes from Via de’ Neri to Via de’ Saponai, less than 5 minutes walking from the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria.
Even though it’s a touristic area, it has kept its original and charming appearance: strolling around through the narrow alleys and the little squares,you can discover artesan’s shops, typical restaurants and smaller museums such as Bargello.
The district is in fact characterized by the presence of important monuments and historic evidences but also by typical trattorie and shops of all kinds.
And how not to help yourself to a walk along the river Arno and its bridges?
Within walking distance there is also the ancient district of Sant'Ambrogio, with the homonymous church and its typical market.
