About this property

Casa Carmencita is a lovely 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom property. What makes it so special is the fantastic front-line location, with a private access to the beach and wonderful sea views. Situated on the main beach road ‘Avenida de las Playas’ in central Puerto del Carmen, close to many local restaurants and amenities. Situated on two floors directly in front of the beach there is a large terrace with sun beds and dining facilities; here you can spend your days enjoying the amazing coastal views and all-day long sunshine. Located on the first floor is the lounge, flat screen TV and free Wi-fi. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, air conditioning and a safety deposit box. The twin bedroom has sea views and fitted wardrobes, the main bathroom consists of a shower, WC, sink, hairdryer and a washing machine. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge freezer and microwave and a second bathroom with a shower, WC and a sink. You have access to the terrace from the ground floor, facilities include a large outdoor dining table, sun beds, a portable BBQ and electric awning. Bath and beach towels are provided.

We arrived early and met Carmen just finishing up preparing for our arrival , what a lovely lady she is ,she gave us a tour and few tips and the keys .. from there on we had the best time 9 days staying in this fabulous apartment, everything you need is there to enjoy .. just turn up with the clothes need and the rest is supplied .. will definitely be looking to stay again , this was our 4th visit to the beautiful island and by far the best place we have stayed … thanks again Carman xxx

Stunning location, right on the water.

Beautiful apartment right on the water. The property was just as advertised . The owner Carmen wadms there to check us in. She also provided early check in. We had a few issues during our stay . One being with the fuse board but the owner assured us this will be sorted for future guests. Would highly recommend this property. There are 42 steps to reach the apartment . Would not be suitable for any one with mobility issues. Hope to return sone time in the future.

Wonderful place to stay

Casa carmencita was one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Perfect location. Right on the beach. You are in the centre of PDC which is perfect. We met the owner and she was wonderful. Highly recommended

We very much enjoyed our stay and found evrything that we would ever need available to us. Many thanks to Carmen for the hospitality, wine fruit etc, we found this so welcoming. Just a few annoying things from the agent giving us wrong information, such as wifi code, safe info and saying the owner will be there to meet us on arrival . We soon resolved this by contacting the owner, Carmen who was so obliging and helpful. The position of the apartment is perfect, right on the seafront, where we spent many a long hour. We can't thank Carmen enough. x

Lovely beachside location

Great stay ,location excellent right on the strip .Property has everything you could possibly need,on arriving there was water, fruit and wine much appreciated. Private terrace leading onto rocky beach ideal for sunbathing and just listening to the waves. As in other reviews the narrow staircase down to the kitchen and terrace could be a problem for children or someone with mobility issues,also flight of steps down to the apartment are tricky when leaving with,uggage .

Beachfront idyll

Although the property is on the main strip, the terrace overlooking the beach was like another world, far away from the busyness of the main road. We’ve stayed in numerous apartments close to the beach, but this was by far the best outside space. Sue and Carmen were both very helpful. Carmen arrived on our second day with pastries! As others have said, the steps down to the property and the internal steps mean this property would be difficult for elderly people or those with a disability, but for us it was fine. The property has everything you could need for a holiday stay.

Great location, Amazing apartment

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Carmencita. The location is central to many bars restaurants and shops along the main promenade What we loved the most was the terrace right on the (rocky) beach overlooking the sea where we spent our days sunbathing and swimming in the sea and our evenings with dinner and a bottle of wine listening to the waves Direct access to the sea is a little rocky, A sandy beach is a very short walk over some rocks from the terrace. It was lovely to meet Carmen and the bottle of wine, water, snacks and fruit was such a special touch and much appreciated Casa Carmencita was well equipped with everything you would need for your stay, there where plenty of clean towels for the beach and bathroom We had a problem with the cooker and Carmen arranged for it to be replaced immediately .. thank you Directions and access to property was also very straightforward We have stayed a few times in Puerto del Carmen but this was the perfect location for us and we will definitely be returning to this lovely beach home. The place itself is very charming and full of everything you could possibly need. We were really appreciative of the very tasty bottle of local white wine which had been left for us in the fridge which we ended up sharing with our lovely neighbours upstairs. There are a few things which should be taken into consideration though, which would be the steep spiral staircase leading from the sitting room upstairs to the kitchen downstairs which leads out to the terrace. This could prove more difficult for elderly or families with kids. There are also several steps leading down to the apartment which can be tricky when leaving with your luggage.. all that said, none of that bothered us. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay here and will definitely be returning.... hopefully in the near future.. As you can see from the photographs the location is right on the beach and although it is also on the main Avenue in the resort there is absolutely no noise so if you want a peaceful break close to the restaurants this is an ideal place to stay.Fantastic location great location

Wonderful seafront home

Fantastic location. Great to be able to step off the terrace to swim in the sea. Well equipped home with all necessities provided. Really nice to arrive to fruit, snacks and chilled water and wine. Good communications with friendly property owner- directions and access to property very straightforward. Good WiFi ( supports Netflix) Restaurants bars supermarkets all close by. Would totally recommend this property however it is not suitable families with young children or anyone who is mobility impaired due to stairs and rocky foreshore.

Cosy and convenient

It was a lovely apartment with everything you could possibly need for your stay . Lovely bowl of fruit and a bottle of wine left for us when we arrived ! It was a great location for everything.. shops bars restaurants. We would definitely return

Great apartment in an excellent location

Met and welcomed by Carmen the owner on arrival. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you could possibly require on holiday including a welcome pack with a lovely bottle of wine. As you can see from the photographs the location is right on the beach and although it is also on the main Avenue in the resort there is absolutely no noise so if you want a peaceful break close to the restaurants this is an ideal place to stay. We've visited the island many times and this apartment helped make it one of our most enjoyable holidays. It is great to be greeted by the owner rather than a 3rd party as you can ask anything direct and I was able to arrange a later leaving time without the hassle you sometimes receive in trying to do so. To some up this is a great apartment for a visit to Lanzarote.

Everything I could have expected and more...

We really enjoyed our stay at Carmencita. The terrace is absolutely incredible and right on the beach when the tide is out. We sat there most mornings watching the sun rise and most nights under the stars before retiring to a very comfy double bed upstairs. The place itself is very charming and full of everything you could possibly need. We were really appreciative of the very tasty bottle of local white wine which had been left for us in the fridge which we ended up sharing with our lovely neighbours upstairs. Brilliant again

Our second time at this apartment. Clean, tidy, bright and cheerful. We like the twin room best as its next to the sea and brighter that the double with the AC. Welcoming fruit, nibbles and water appreciated. the best thing though is leaving your patio to walk the few steps down to your own little bit of beach. ok it is shared but never busy. (Be aware there is internal narrow stairs from living area to kitchen) Also although the apartment is down steps from the main road you never hear any traffic voices or music. You feel you are in your own little world until you go upstairs. the bars to the side also close early and never noisy. Its definitatly our favourite of all villas and apartments we have been to. The view over the ocean is superb day and at night time enjoying a nightcap.
