Saville Street Studio Apartment Central Malton

Our studio apartment is situated on the 1st floor in a Grade II listed building located in the heart of the historic North Yorkshire market town of Malton. The studio has a contemporary design feel to it while at the same time it has retained its old 19 century look and character. You can take advantage of a mini kitchenette with a breakfast bar for a quiet meal in and relax on top of our comfy king sized bed. There is a shower room, TV and a private entrance. Check in available 24 hours.

Malton Central is a Grade II listed building located in the heart of the historic and ‘foodie’ market town of Malton, North Yorkshire the gateway to the Howardian Hills, North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Coast. Our collection of rooms, studios and apartments have a contemporary design feel to it while at the same time retaining its 19th century look and character.

We are unique and different to other local accommodation providers as our rooms, studios and apartments are all self-contained and include either a fully equipped and modern kitchen or a food preparation area where you can make yourself your own food and have your own personal space. Saying this if you prefer to be waited on and want a night out you can easily explore the town centre and the many eating establishments it has to offer.

To make your stay even more relaxing and comfortable we provide cosy beds, comfy pillows with fresh linen and an ensuite with a powerful shower. You can also take advantage of Free Wi-Fi throughout and have use of flat screen TV’s.

Malton Central Apartments can easily be accessed by road with plenty of parking in and around the town centre including Water Lane car park which is directly opposite us. The railway and bus station are both only a five-minute walk away which makes visiting us easy and hassle free.

Our accommodation is very flexible, we can provide accommodation for individuals, couples, families and offer companies and businesses short and medium-term rentals. If you are looking for a place to stay in Malton or want to book a well-earned break, then come and stay with us.

Great location and convenient, free parking available nearby
It was easily self service, the bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and clean with great facilities including a fan and extra pillows/blankets. Our room was very hot with the window shut. There was no toilet roll and only 2 teabags but we had both with us anyway so didn't mention it at the time.

In depth thorough/regular cleaning req. on stairs, apt floors, carpet edges, behind doors.
Great location for town activities and local transportation opportunities. Good shower, with hot water. Good kitchen area for cooking in. Good heating system managed by remote access. Malton Central dates back to the 1800's. From 1867 until late 1960's the building was occupied by John Soulby a local wine merchant and then leased by Chas Rose & Co Ltd a local brewer who were based on Castlegate.

George and William Bower a butchers and food provider took over the building in 1969 when the local brewery closed down and operated there until 1990 when Campbell and Mycroft a respected local accountancy and financial services company took on the ownership.

The building laid empty and in disrepair for several years until 2018. For the past few years our trusted team of contractors and local craftsman have painstaking restored and converted the building into a collection of contemporary designed rooms, studio spaces and fully equipped apartments. Our aim is to offer you and all our guests a safe and enjoyable place to stay.
