After initial disappointment, on arriving at a cold, damp, musty, & dirty cottage we had a few issues with fridge and dishwasher! But once aired and heated we enjoyed our stay. The bones of the place are there it just needs some TLC and a good clean!!

Damp and needs a thorough clean!
Checked in to find a very damp musty and unclean house that frankly we could not stay in. Cleaning was half done at best.. the sofas were not useable. The wifi and some of the electrics weren’t working.
It’s in a good location and if deep cleaned and aired properly would be good.
We contacted the agent and they moved us elsewhere..
Very comfortable with all required necessities including car parking.

Short break
The property was not clean when we arrived. We had to clean coffee tables ourselves as there were food crumbs on them and also food crumbs and dirt in kitchen drawers and on kitchen chairs . The toaster had bits of bread sticking out of top. Toilet seat in one bedroom was broken and the cottage felt cold and damp and even with heating on. Not good value for money and we didn’t enjoy our stay at all. I wouldn’t expect to arrive at a holiday cottage and have to do some cleaning myself.
The property is ideal for a family of 8 and 1 small dog. Well equipped to cater for 8. Only thing I would point out, I must have missed it, is the garden is not attached to the house. It worked for us but I might not have booked if I’d known.

Solva stay
Great property for 2 families to share, plenty of space for everyone and everything you need. Location wise, be prepared to drive to other areas around Solva to make the most of your stay, but there are nice pubs, shops and walks around the property.
