This monumental house from 1917 was completely renovated in 2003 and 2021 and is offered fully equipped. The property was formerly known as SlagerijKapteijn and is located in the quiet village center of Maasland. All primary facilities (stores and restaurants) are within walking distance. Within 20 min you are by car in cities such as Delft, Rotterdam, The Hague or on the beach of Hoek van Holland. In the immediate vicinity are walking, cycling and boating routes through the polders or forest.
Parking is free and can be found on the public road around the house and there is a bus stop within walking distance.
The house is great for couples looking for a central place to explore the western part of the Netherlands or expats who come here temporarily to work and live in the area. Although there is only 1 bedroom, with approximately 30 m2 of space it is possibly suitable to add a crib.

A wonderful week in Maasland
We loved this apartment situated on the pretty canal through Maasland. The apartment and the village were just what we were hoping for. The flat is a spacious and well furnished conversion of an original butcher's shop and the addition of the wall photos of how it used to be made it so much more interesting. Contact with Steven the owner was easy and he was at the parking area to meet us and to show us the apartment, and on hand throughout the week if we had any queries. Parking was just a few yards away behind the apartment. The apartment is well equipped for a week’s stay with fridge/freezer, oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher etc, good ensuite bathroom and separate loo. It is only a few minutes’ walk to the supermarket which is open 7 days a week until 9pm most evenings. When we weren’t out visiting friends and other parts of Holland, we loved being able to sit on the terrace by the canal and look up the road towards the church and the pretty village. The apartment is in a central location in Maasland, lovely to walk around the village, easy to reach the main road to get to other towns and cities, and only a few minutes from the ferry at Hoek van Holland. If we need to stay in Holland again, we will definitely aim to return here. Thank you Steven for the warm welcome and a wonderful week.

Sehr schönes Appartement, toll eingerichtet und alles da was man braucht. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Maasland ist ein schöner kleiner Ort mit Supermarkt, Pub und Bäcker in der Nähe. Mit dem Auto ca. 20 km nach den Haag, 20 Minuten zum Strand und auch Rotterdam ... alles gut mit der Bahn erreichbar, wir waren trotzdem meistens mit dem Rad unterwegs. Tolle Radwege und alles gut beschildert Steven ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Er hatte viele gute Tipps. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank

Wunderschöne Wohnung
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr genossen! Und da das Wetter mittelmäßig war, waren wir recht häufig da. Die Ausstattung ist ungewöhnlich gut, wir kochen sehr gerne und haben nichts vermisst. Die moderne und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines Altbaus, direkt an einem Kanal….. toll

Die Lage der Wohnung ist einzigartig. In einem malischerischen Örtchen direkt an einer Gracht. Ausstattung ist wirklich sehr, sehr gut. Viel nette Details. Unter anderem gibt es wirklich schöne, geschmackvolle Lichtquellen. Und zuletzt ein dickes Lob für den Vermieter Steven. Er ist wirklichlich sehr, sehr hilfrich bei Tips, dabei aber niemals aufdrinklich. Wunderbar

Wunderbare Woche in Maasland

Traumhafte Lage
Sehr netter Empfang durch Steven, der uns immer wieder mal spontan tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und praktische Ratschläge für den Alltag gab. Der Wohnung fehlte es an nichts, sie war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ruhig, direkt an einer Gracht gelegen. Der Bus in 200m, Supermarkt in 250 m Entfernung

Schöner Aufenthalt an der Gracht
Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen in Maasland. Die Umgebung ist landschaftlich sehr schön. Diese Wohnung war ein Glücksfall. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschackvoll, gemütlich und liegt direkt an einer Gracht. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Im Ort gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie Supermarkt und Gemüsehändler in Gehweite. Ebenfalls in unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich ein sehr netter Pub mit ausgezeichneter Küche! Man kann von Maasland aus sehr gut Hoek van Holland, Strände, die Städte Delft, Den Haag, Leiden und Rotterdam erreichen. Selbst Utrecht ist nicht allzu weit entfernt. Unser Gastgeber war einfach Klasse. Er war sehr aufmerksam, gab uns viele nützliche Tipps, war stets für uns erreichbar und war sehr unterhaltsam. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen.

Komfortable Ferienwohnung unweit der Städte Rotterdam und den Daag
Die Wohnung verfügt über allen Komfort, den man sich wünscht, ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liegt absolut ruhig. Als Ausgangspunkt für Städtetrips nach Rotterdam, Den Haag und Delft absolut gut geeignet. Die praktischen Tipps vom Eigentümer, der über WhatsApp immer erreichbar war, haben uns sehr geholfen. Alles in allem ein perfekter Urlaub!

Schitterend huis in historische lokatie
We verbleven op de begane grond van een groot historisch huis aan de schitterende gracht door Maasland. Het huis is een zeer goed en functioneel ingerichte verbouwing in de oorspronkelijke slagerij en voorzien van alle apparatuur en gemakken in de keuken en eetkamer/zitkamer. Grote hal waar we onze fietsen 's nachts konden laten staan, voor heerlijke fietstochten de volgende dagen in Delfland. Grote slaapkamer met nieuwe uitstekende badkamer. Een uitgesproken heerlijke tijd gehad. Contact met de eigenaar Steven was probleemloos, en behulpzaam, plus zeer snelle antwoorden op vragen die we hadden. De centrale lokatie in het historische Maasland maakte uitstapjes eenvoudig, bijvoorbeeld Delft, Rotterdam en Hoek van Holland.
