From the moment you arrive at Mereside Farm you feel a sense of tranquillity. Towards the back of the property is access to the plantation wood, and a lane that leads you directly into Ellesmere.. 1 step to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Smart TV Ensuite: Bath With Shower Over, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Air source heat pump central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot available on request. Welcome pack. Garden with patio and garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). 1 small dog welcome. Bike store. Ample private parking. No smoking. . The Old Dairy is a cosy ground-floor conversion, sleeping up to two people, and comes with exposed beams and an open-plan living area, with comfy sofa and armchair, Smart TV, and a full-size fitted kitchen (new in 2019) with oven, induction hob, dishwasher and microwave. Outside, there’s direct access onto a patio with seating – part of a south-facing walled garden.
Elsewhere, the individually designed apartment includes a standard double bed, wardrobe, full-length mirror and hairdryer – plus an en-suite with shower over bath, large fluffy towels on heated rail and complimentary toiletries.
There’s underfloor heating throughout and free, unlimited superfast Wi-Fi too. In addition, we supply a complimentary selection of teas, coffees, hot chocolate and biscuits, whilst there will be fresh milk in the fridge as well.
Friendly dogs are welcomed to The Old Dairy (there’s a one-off charge) with their own bowl, towel and throw, but they must not be left unattended in the building at any time. Many cafés and pubs in Ellesmere accept dogs, whilst there are a plenty of countryside walks from your doorstep.
From the back of the gardens at Mereside Farm, you can meander into the Ellesmere Plantation woods, allowing you direct access from the property. Just a short walk away is the picturesque town of Ellesmere, this has developed into a vibrant market town with numerous Georgian and half-timbered buildings. Ellesmere prides itself on its individual and independent shops – some have been in the same family for generations. Throughout the year there are numerous food festivals and regattas. It’s a great place to visit. Ellesmere is a town in Shropshire, England, located near the Welsh border and the towns of Oswestry, Whitchurch, and Wrexham, making it a perfect base to visit other nearby areas within Shropshire and north Wales. From taking a stroll around the beautiful mere to exploring the woodlands and countryside, even just sitting back relaxing and taking in the tranquillity of the stunning gardens. The Old Dairy provides everything you need to make your stay a comfortable one.
