Hope to come back soon
We hadn't stayed at Stinson Lake before , but we were so happy to find this spot. The house itself is incredibly attractive, clean and comfortable and it has everything you could need during your stay. It is well appointed with plenty of nice pots, cooking utensils, washer/dryer, grilling utensils, towels, etc. Our son kept commenting on how comfy his bed was! We immediately felt very comfortable there. The lake is incredibly peaceful and relaxing, and was just what we needed. The lake did not have much boating traffic and was very quiet. The private beach was a great spot for the kids to swim. Nick and Pat are excellent hosts and they were gracious in allowing us to use some of the boats they have. Often I would kayak the lake and nearly have it to myself. This house is wonderfully situated on the lake. We enjoyed coffee overlooking the lake almost every morning. We swam or boated nearly every day and had smores every night. It's a great spot to venture out for hiking and biking and isn't too far from places to eat for a break from cooking This truly was a wonderfully relaxing visit and we hope to come back next year. Thank you Nick & Pat!

Awesome family vacation!
This was our 2nd summer visiting this same adorable cottage on Stinson Lake. We were thrilled to return in 2019. The house, lake, beach area and dock were perfect. It was very comfortable and our family of 4 loved it! Our girls are already asking if we can go back next year. We created so many wonderful family memories here! Thank you so much!!

Return to Paradise
Second year in a row for us at Stinson Lake. Once again we had a terrific time. Property is clean and well maintained, close enough to restaurants and services, but far enough away to feel remote and peaceful. Location, location, location!

Beautiful, scenic location!
Our family enjoyed this quaint house on the lake tremendously. The lake is clean and quiet. We had a blast swimming, kayaking, fishing and relaxing at night by the fire pit. There is much to do if you don’t mind a scenic ride. We especially liked our daily hiking trips that took us to beautiful mountains and waterfalls. Everything we needed was at the house which was clean and cozy. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories.

Beautiful lakefront property
This is a beautiful property. The cabin was clean as a whistle, the beds comfy and the view unbeatable. We loved the lakefront location, the dock and the private sandy beach. The Martone's were responsive, generous and helpful hosts. We hope to stay here again in coming years. Lovely place.

Wonderful vacation, beautiful house & lake, great hosts
We had a wonderful time!!!! Everything was great! It was the perfect vacation spot for our family - quiet, peaceful, beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, had a good layout & was equipped with all the necessities. The sandy beach was a great area for our kids to play. We used the dock for our boat. The deck had a wonderful view of the lake where we had our morning coffee and most of our meals. Nick & Pat were wonderful hosts and we are so grateful to have spent a week here! We visited the Polar Caves, did blueberry picking and enjoyed a local farm stand. We hope to come back next year! It was such a memorable vacation that we will all cherish!

Memories to treasure, a gem of a lake, a hidden jewel of a property
Enjoyed two weeks on Stinson Lake and at this property. Well appointed cottage with everything you would need for your stay. Comfortable, immaculately clean, and roomy for family of 4-6. Cottage location is the best on the lake -located in the cove, surrounded by trees for privacy- the only intrusion was the chirping of birds and the croaking of frogs. Deck is perfect for a serene cup of coffee in the early morning or an evening meal. View of mountains surrounding the lake is captivating. Bring your boat, paddleboard or kayaks and you will enjoy the lovely lake. Not overcrowded or loud, lake is perfect for swimming, paddling or boating. Cottage has sandy beach with walk in to the lake. Located in White Mountains of NH - easy access to shopping center about 20 minutes away (Supermarket, Walmart, Dunkins, Banks, specialty stores), hiking, tourist attractions nearby if you can pull yourself away. Hosts were warm and welcoming- readily available if needed. I would highly recommend staying here -- just don't take my week!!

Beautiful lake, fantastic location, pretty cottage, great hosts
We booked this vacation rental based on the description, few pictures, review and quick replies from the owner. We know and enjoy the area so we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. Best decision we made for our summer getaway! The cottage was clean, spacious and well laid out. The location cannot be beat with a deck, grill and fire pit overlooking the lake, private dock and beach steps away and all of it private. The lake was beautiful and quiet with little boat traffic and plenty of room to take our kids tubing and water skiing whenever we wanted. We paddle boated, kayaked, fished and canoed without worrying about excessive wakes. This was the perfect place to spend time together and reconnect as a family after a busy 11 months of school and sports. The owners were gracious, friendly and very helpful. You will not find shopping or restaurants very near (which we knew) but if you are looking for a tranquil retreat this is it. We have found our go to cottage on a lake and will be going back again.

A little piece of Heaven
We were looking for a place to relax and disconnect from our busy lives and this place was just PERFECT! Walked in to a very clean house and stunning views of the lake. Private beach area, awesome deck and fire pit area, nice yard for kids to run around and enjoy the outdoors. We brought our boat and jet ski and had no issues keeping them right on our propriety. The lake was amazing! We enjoyed amazing fireworks by Nick and Pat's family and also on the 4th by all the neighbors surrounding the lake. This time we just hopped on our boat to the middle of the lake and enjoyed a tradition kept for many years as they display fireworks in celebration of the 4th of July. House is equipped with everything you need but if you forget to bring something to grill or any need you can go for relatively short drive and find it. Owners Pat and Nick (and their family) were very accommodating and SUPER FRIENDLY! They sure made us feel at home! We did a few day trips, Polar Caves (very close by),Gunstock (was so worth the drive),Lobster Rolls and Ice Cream night out, hiking is very close by. After each trip coming back to the house was just an amazing feeling. Breakfast on the deck, afternoon grilling, S'mores every night and just relaxing!!!! A little piece of Heaven! Thank you Nick,Pat and Family!
