Charming, but oversold
Ultimately, the apartment and overall lodging was very good. However, we were a bit surprised by the difference between the realities of staying Maison Marie and certain details highlighted in the posting of the announcement. First, the distance from Maison Marie is much further than 15 minutes by foot and it should clearly be stated that the property is perched on quite a large hill with swift traffic. Second, there are no windows in the rooms besides a small one in the bathroom and the front door. Finally, there is no wifi in the apartments themselves; it is only available in the front-garden area. These were, as I say, ultimately small details; we enjoyed our time very much and the pool was amazing. The hosts were very warm and friendly too, providing personal contact information should we have any issues. My only recommendation is a brief update of the realities of the property as posted on site.
