An imposing period property, Sanderling End makes a great choice for your seaside escape to Northumberland. Two minutes walk to the Railway Station and ten minutes to Berwick’s three beaches. Located in the centre of Berwick-Upon-Tweed, you are in perfect walking distance of the Elizabethan Walls, Granary Art Gallery, Maltings Cinema and Theatre and the King’s Own Scottish Borderers Museum, a pier and lighthouse its own castle ruins and ramparts, various restaurants and bars. It also has the unmissable Lowry Trail and the Tweed and Coast Nature Trail. Dolphins, seals and otters are often seen offshore and up the Tweed River. Regular dolphin trips are run around Spittal Bay and up the coast. From Spittal beach you can see down the coast to Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island and the Farne Islands, all within easy reach, together with Alnwick Castle, of Harry Potter fame and Wooler with it’s newly opened world class Northumberland Anglo-Saxon Museum and English whisky distillery.
