Quite a challenge
We had not realised how challenging a climb it was to get to the apartment. As two seniors with some luggage we had to pace many steps to get to our rental. Sort from that the host and facilities were good

Amaxing property with spectacular views..
If you are a first time visitor, as we were, to Dubrovnik, I totally recommend you stay here! You are in the heart of everything! The apartment is spotless and well equipped. Damir, the host, was prompt meeting us, and available by phone or email if we needed anything (which we didn't, as the apartment had it all, and was so central) Very peaceful and quiet at night!

Lovely decorated studio with great views and location
The studio is well located with views across to the walls and Pile Gate. Well equipped kitchenette and modern bathroom with shower. Plenty of space for two people. Wooden beamed roof, windows with shutters, lots of storage. Steps and stairs as the studio is on the third floor. Damir met us and was very helpful with suggested day trips and any problems.

Perfect Apartment
We have just spent a week in Dubrovnik, and thanks to our brilliant apartment we were able to enjoy every aspect of this magical Old Town. From three windows, we had spectacular north and west facing views of the famous tiled roofs, the city's walls, and the Aegean. We were only a short stroll to stunning rock beaches and about a minute or two from the very centre of Dubrovnik Old Town. Our apartment had excellent air-conditioning, a compact yet user friendly kitchen, a great bathroom and to top it all off, a clothes line. Our host was so kind. He met us on arrival, provided a tour of the main thoroughfare and side streets, provided two sets of keys and made sure everything was working before he left us to our own devices. Oh, and the wifi worked 24 hours a day without a problem. We highly recommend this wonderful apartment. You couldn't do better.

Great apartment and location in Old Town
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment within the walls of old town. It is at the top of the walls and on the top floor, so you have to walk up quite a few steps to get there. The great thing is the views from the apartment are amazing, and the area was very quiet and out of the way. The apartment was very clean, functional, with a great kitchen and gorgeous views out of the windows of old town. As you stick your head out of the window people walking by on the walls take your picture! There was an authentic feel to the building and apartment, with decorations in the hallway and ancient timbers on the ceiling. The apartment is a bit small with a sloped roof, but it has large windows which let in a lot of light. It worked very well for us, a retired couple. The only thing it needs is a washing machine, as we were there six days and needed to wash clothes. Damir was a great host who communicated very well with us, and met us on time at our agreed location and walked us to the apartment. He was very helpful in planning our trip and giving us tips about places to see. I would highly recommend this apartment as a great place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Adorable Apartment & Great Location
Damir’s apartment in the old town was absolutely fantastic. Super close to restaurants / bars / cafes and the Pile Gate. The apartment is on the 4th floor so it also has a magical view of the city rooftops and the wall. We loved it and can’t wait to visit again. Thank you, Damir!

DON'T MAKE ME LEAVE...
This home was at the top of the world. It was clean, fully furnished with everything you need to cook, bath, wash clothes et cetera. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the a/c was awesome. The host was amazing provided all the information needed and was very thorough & funny. We loved our stay in Dubrovnik and hated to leave. Many nights (and days) we stared out our window at the people walking the city walls, the Fort and the ocean. The sunsets were amazing the food was exceptional and the people were very kind.

Wonderful stay
The old town apartment was perfect as a base for us to explore Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast. It has wonderful views of the wall, old town and the fortress. Being right in Old Town allows you to explore the city just two minutes from all the sights. The apartment itself is cosy, full of character and well maintained. It's perfect as somewhere to stay with everything you need - better than an hotel room, so quiet and ideal for a couple. Damir was very welcoming and helpful with advice and tips.

Fantastic Holiday Experience
It had everything we needed for our break in Dubrovnik and was clean and comfortable with fantastic views. Wonderful location and proximity to everything you would need on a city break. Damir is a brilliant host - he met us and took us to the apartment and showed us useful landmarks on the way - a friendly, interesting host who even carried our bags up the (many) steps. We would recommend this apartment to a couple who enjoy the authentic experience of Dubrovnik Old Town. We had the holiday of a lifetime and can't wait to go back.

Perfect location for our first visit to Dubrovnik
The apartment is ideal for visiting Dubrovnik. Approximately ten minutes walk from pile gate. As with much of the old town there’s lots of steps to get to it. The views from the window are very nice, looking at the city wall and towards fort lovrijenac and the northern end of the old town. There is everything you need in the apartment, very good air-con/heating, Small safe, and a good shower. Nice quiet corner of the old town. We would recommend this apartment to our friends.

Great flat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very cosy appartement. Very clean, well decorated, everything worked great, super nice bathroom and functional kitchen. The air conditioning was a definite plus since the weather was quite hot while we were there. Everything you want to see within the walls is no more than 5 minutes walk. Away from the main streets so you can enjoy quiet nights with the windows open if you choose. Great view of city and wall from both windows. Damir was a great host. He gave us a mini tour on the way to the apartment and provided us with great info and recommendations. He was even carried one of our bags up the many stairs in the city. We highly recommend this apartment. Norm and Sarah

Lovely stay in Dubrovnik
Greeted promptly by Damir upon our arrival in Dubrovnik Old Town. Damir took us to his apartment and kindly explained some of the do’s and dont’s to assist us during our stay. The apartment was clean, well equipped and spacious. It has a fabulous location with wonderful views of the Fort, wall, old town and sea. Dubrovnik’s numerous steps are well documented however they can be taken in your stride with plenty of stop offs for refreshments. We would highly recommend a stay at this apartment if you are thinking of visiting Dubrovnik. Thanks again Damir. Regards Rod & Kathy. Sept 18

Also für jeden Ausflug absolut ausreichend.

Perfect stay in Old Town
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Damir's property (June/July). The location is perfect; 2 minutes from the buzz of the town centre, but very quiet too. The kitchen is well equipped and the bed comfortable. There is very efficient air-con, Sky TV and WiFi and amazing views. We had been a little worried about getting our luggage (for a two week stay) up the well-documented steps, but Damir, having met us as arranged, showed us the best route and carried my suitcase! Thank you for that, Damir. He then spent around 40 minutes explaining the property and answering all our questions regarding places to visit, best deals, bus routes etc., which was invaluable. There are many steps, but we never found them a challenge. Some observations: if you are staying long enough for lazy beach days, the nearest beach (Banje) is very crowded with loud music. We walked to San Jacov beach (a pleasant 40 minute stroll) which was far less crowded and with a very good, reasonably priced restaurant. There are 150 steps down to this beach but there is a taxi boat back to town if you don't fancy the climb back up. There are lots of boat trip deals on offer, but we found it cheaper to visit the islands independently. We particularly enjoyed Lopud. The number 8 bus takes you to the port where you can get a ferry to Lopud. Food and drink is cheaper there. If you are reading this in 2019, we would recommend the Shakespeare production in the fort. We thoroughly enjoyed Midsummer Nights Dream. Regarding restaurants, we'd recommend Aquarius. I am a coeliac and they had a very good knowledge of the gluten free diet. The food and atmosphere were great and we were sorry that we didn't go there earlier in our stay! Also good for gluten free is Domino, where they served good gluten free bread, and Moby Dick (up the steps from the main street). We found four small supermarkets around town, all with a small amount of Schar GF. Avoid the bar/restaurant nearest the cathedral; their prices are ridiculous! Regarding cruise ships, they do make a difference in town crowd-wise, but we downloaded a list of Cruise Ship Arrivals on 'Croatia Traveller' and went out of town on busy days. Cruisers tend to go back to the ship in the late afternoon. We had a wonderful stay in beautiful Dubrovnik. We were there a while, but we found something to enjoy and new places every day. Thank you so much Damir.

Absolutely perfect stay!
The apartment is perfect - lovely view of city walls, steps from the main sights, but tucked in a corner away from any noise. Host was so friendly and met us to walk us to the apartment, showing us ways to walk with fewer steps while we had our baggage! He even took the time to look up the bus schedule we needed for a day trip and was available if we needed anything at all. Apartment very clean and had all the essentials, nicely upgraded bathroom. It was the perfect apartment for our 3 night stay and we couldn’t have loved it more! Thank you!!

A great week in Dubrovnik!!
Damir met us at the Clock Tower when we arrived about 22.30. He helped us with our suitcase and I don't think that we would have found it without him. On showing us our apartment he spent a good 30 - 40 mins offering advice of what we could do and the best way to make the most of our holiday and we used his advice throughout our stay. The apartment is in excellent condition and maintained to a high standard and the views are amazing! The only word of caution is that the apartment is situated at near the top of Old Town and has many steps to get there so some people may struggle to go up and down a few times a day, however we we were fine with this. The Old Town has many good quality restaurants, bars, shops and a small daily market. There are many boat trips but if you decide to go to Lokrum go on the large boat at approx 150 Kunars as this covers the trip and entry to the island others charge just for the trip and you have to pay entrance to the island so this way is not cost effective. If you get a ticket (1,2,3 day passes) for the walls and the museums, please note to do the walls early and save your ticket for the wall as this gets you into the small fort just on the outside the outer walls, you cant do it the other way round! Also many museums close on a Monday although if you buy a one day ticket you can use on the Tuesday to gain entrance to these. Note, even with a 3 day ticket you can only go on the walls or into the museums only once so unless you want to use it for the buses try get it all done in a day. The cable car is usually busy until mid afternoon and you only need an hour up here to look at the views and visit the fortress. Dubrovnik is a great experience and one week is about enough to do it all, if you are into Game of Thrones then you are in your element as a lot of filming was done in the area! Finally Damir was a great help from out initial enquiry, answering questions before we got there, our arrival and although he left us to get on with our holiday we knew he was there if we needed him. I would definitely recommend this apartment and Dubrovnik Old Town.

Amazing views over city walls and kings landing.
The property has everything you need for your stay. Can’t compliment the property enough. It’s tucked away from the Main Street, so noise isn’t much of an issue. Thanking our host Damir for his hospitality and friendliness. He meet us and brought I to the property, showed us around and left us to it. Brilliant plave to stay and relax.

Lovely town, lovely little apartment and a very helpful considerate host
Damir met us to take us to the apartment, helped us with our bags and on the way pointed out shops, restaurants and other useful places. The apartment was just right for a short break: clean, comfortable, in a great location and very good value for the price. . Dubrovnik is a fascinating place and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area; trips to the islands are highly recommended. We recommend a trip up to Srd on the cable car, the views are spectacular and the museum of the "Homeland War" informative and moving. The Wall walk is a great experience and the views are terrific, but the museums are mostly a waste of time and money, very small with few exhibits. One possible exception is the maritime museum which is an hour well spent. Unfortunately you have to buy a ticket that gives admission to all 7 museums and costs the equivalent of £15, which is a lot of money for one quite good but small museum! Gradac Park is another lovely place to go and sit in the sun and chill for an afternoon and well away fro the crowds in the city. Damir told us that most restaurants inside the walls take advantage of their location and are quite expensive. He recommended the pizzeria tabasco outside the walls which was very good and reasonably priced. He also recommended the Aquarius Konoba (Tavern) near the wall; we ate there twice and highly recommend it. The food is good and reasonably priced (Damir's guests get a discount) the terrace is lovely and right beneath the wall and the service is quick and very friendly. If the waiter offers you the home brewed grappa treat it with respect, it's really good, but packs a punch! We tried 2 other restaurants, one in the market square and the other at the bottom of the Jesuit Steps (I can't remember the names) but both were very good. We would highly recommend a trip to Dubrovnik with the caveat that a week is plenty of time to see all there is and it is quite an expensive place.

Room with a view!
From booking the day before to meeting Damir the next day everything was easy. The flat is in a great position in the Old Town close to everything but far enough away from the hussle and bustle of the main area. Idea for couples, a view from every window. Everything was spotless on arrival. Downside no washing machine or oven. We had fantastic 5 nights staying at the Old Town Aprtments.
