A slice of heaven

There was a problem with the underfloor heating in the one bed cottage that we were due to stay in and we got offered a 2 bed cottage for the same price - boy did we fall on our feet. The Police Cottages are excellent. I loved the little utility area as you walked in and it was a perfect place for the muddy boots and coats. The kitchen was very well equipped and the lounge, bedrooms and ensuites were a great size for 2 adults and a deerhound. Definately stay again

Great accommodation, so well equipped, great village setting and very near to the coast

Loved 'the product'. Clean and immaculate accommodation throughout. Beds really comfy and the attention to detail was first class. We arrived on the 5th and apart from the public fireworks display somewhere in the village, on completion of that there were no other fireworks in Embleton. My daughters dog was so pleased !! We shall be returning same time next year

A lovely stay

Cottage was comfortable, clean, well equipped and lovely and warm. The village was perfect... dinners in the hotel and at golf club, farm shop just across the road and great beach within walking distance. All attractions within easy driving distance, so a perfect place to stay. Will definately be staying again.

A recharge for the soul

The police cottage was warm welcoming and has everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. An excellent situation for coastal walks with facilities nearby that you don't need to use the car during your stay. Great communication regarding the booking from George. Our go to Northumberland staycation every year.

Great base to explore the area

The house is perfect and extremely clean. The property manager is very responsive. The house is ideally located for exploring the area. The village is lovely and close to the local beach which is beautiful. We will return.

The cottages were absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean, comfortable and relaxing.

The location is perfect for a short break and to explore the Northumberland coast. Everything you could possibly need is either on the doorstep or a short drive away. Embleton Bay is just stunning, wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful! We love it!!

The The cottage is like home from home, very spacious. Everything is provided for the perfect stay. We like that the cottage is carpeted rather than wooden floors and our little dog is happy because he hates walkin on wooden floors! Everyone is very friendly. The and the cottages are situated in a great location to visit places like the sandy beach down the road or Bamburgh Castle and plenty of other places of interest. We are already looking at dates for our next stay!

We love staying in Police House Cottages No 3,it has many Happy Memories for the Family. Beautiful, comfortable, clean cottage, near to the Beach and other attractions if you want them, home from home feeling the minute you step through thr door. Cleaned to a very high standard, well equipped for all of your needs. Easy Bookable system, Extremely Friendly Staff, Close By Parking Facilities. This is our third stay in The Cottages and many more years and memories to be made with our Family.

ideal property and location

An ideal property for 2 couples. Well appointed and clean, with everything we needed for a trip away. A very convenient location - in village of Embleton and to explore Holy Island, Bamburgh and a number of other fantastic beaches. We made the most of the pubs around to enjoy the local food they were offering. Would definitely stay again.
