The house was perfect for 3 older ladies. Many amenities. Close to everything in town. Loved how clean it was and the beds were very comfortable. No problems at all. You will love the quiet location!
My sisters and I visited Black Mountain together and really enjoyed our stay here! Beautifully decorated and very peaceful! True to pictures with all we needed! Look forward to another visit!!!
We had a wonderful stay at the White Oak Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was well-thought out and had everything we needed. Overall, it was truly a perfect place to spend 4 days. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. But, we will be back! :)
We had a wonderful stay in this cute and quaint cottage in beautiful Black Mountain. It was very clean, tidy and comfortable. It was conveniently located to all the activities we enjoy in the area - hiking, shopping and eating. We were sad to have to leave a day early to avoid the arrival of Hurricane Helene and hope this place survived the storm. We will definitely return!
What a glorious summer! I spent three wonderful months in the White Oak Cottage. Great location on dead-end(very quiet) street half a mile from downtown Black Mountain. I could get anywhere I needed to go in five minutes on my bike. The White Oak is very nicely updated and comfortably appointed. Everything you need is at hand. It’s nice having a full bath in second bedroom. The host is very nice and responsive, but i didn’t need to contact her for one damn thing in three months! The neighbors are very friendly. The White Oak Cottage is outstanding and I will return.
My elderly friend stayed here for a week and enjoyed the comfort of this house. It can be entered in the back without steps and the showers have safety rails. Very nice place.
We greatly enjoyed the cottage. It was a very relaxing visit and the close proximity to all of Black Mountain's restaurants and other attractions was fantastic. We'd very much like to stay here again.
Two sets of cousins traveled from TX and FL to enjoy a reunion with three local cousins. This home was a perfect meeting place. We loved the location. Must say the home is even better than the photos and description.
The kitchen was above and beyond supplied with everything you might need. The beds were comfortable and appointed with high end linen and wonderful pillows. The bath linens were very nice as well. The furniture was comfortable and plentiful. The outdoor area was very invited and made for a wonderful gathering place.
Response from the owners was quick and friendly.
Thank you so much! We will definitely stay again.
