The open plan living room and kitchen is spacious has seating for six to enjoy their meals and leads to the conservatory where you can enjoy the views of the beautifully landscaped garden and the fields behind. From the enclosed garden you can see the sea and if you head out through the back garden gate you can follow the path down to the harbour. There is a slight slope leading down to the path. St Monans is one of the smallest of the many picturesque fishing villages in the East Neuk of Fife. Located approximately 10 miles south of the historic town of St Andrews, with its world famous golf courses and University, and a wonderful selection of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, St Monans is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful area. Take a walk down to the harbour with its many charming 17th and 18th century pantiled houses that crowd the harbourside. St Monans lies directly on the Fife Coastal Path, so is very popular with walkers. The remains of Newark Castle, with its circular beehive dovecot are further along the coastal path to the west of the village. You can walk to the popular arts and crafts village of Pittenween where the annual art festival is held, within a twenty minute stroll. A lot of attention to detail has gone into this house and has been furnished with quality bedding, pillows and duvets to promise you a great nights sleep. Beach 3 milles.
