Trash - we left without refund 3nights.

The picture of the desk is inaccurate and misleading. Instead of a receptionist, there is a big camera and a sign '€300 fine for damaging the camera'. Nobody is onsite to assist customers - email or app only. The toilet ran constantly and loudly and had been for months - a hard water stain ran down into the bowl. Our email to Rebecca asking for it to be fixed was never answered. The bedspread had not been washed, showed suspicious white stains. Sheets seemed clean, but threadbare. The booking process was complicated - multiple errors (including three accidental $17k mischarges) and the dates were changed without our approval. We asked for a cancellation due to this an it was denied.

l,ouverture de la chambre n,a pas ete facile. Nous n,avions pas compris qu,il y avait une boite a cle a l,arrivee. Il n,y a eu personne pour nous accueillir. Autrement, la suite etait spacieuse et bien agencée. Le lit de notre enfant n,avait pas ete fait avant son arrivée. Nous avons eu une femme de menage en cours de sejour. Bon voyage, dans l,ensemble

Communication with the host was difficult as we were traveling so when we arrived there the directions as to our room number and keys were not easily available. The host did allow us to come in an hour early which we appreciated. However, the entry door needed repair and caused not only ourselves but other guests' problems. Our host was upset and used a raised voice. We lost hours of sleep trying to resolve the issue.

Quiet neighborhood

It is a great location, a short walk to the train and metro station. Lots of food nearby and a grocery store. The only complaint we had was the shower. The door does not close on it and the main sprayer points at the door so you have to get close to the door to get wet. There are other sprayers in the shower to use so we improvised. They provide one mornings worth of coffee for two. It would be nice to have an umbrella to borrow since it rained while we were there.

Situé derrière le Vatican, proche d'une station de métro et d'une boulangerie pour le petit déjeuner, la chambre était spacieuse propre et confortable. Quartier calme avec a proximité des petits restos bien meilleur marché que dans le centre historique

it was perfect for us

We had a wonderful week in Rome and were thankful to have found this place to stay. It is equivalent to a hotel room in size and function. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. The location is wonderful. Less than a 10 min walk to the Cipro Metro stop, and close walking to the Vatican city Museum. There is a little grocery store near by as well as pizza, bakery, cafe's and all else you could need. For those like us who wish to be out and about all day and have an easily accessible place to lay your head at night, it was perfect.
