Family Stay with kids ages 13-2
A quiet, big place. The decor and fixtures are dated, but clean and functional. This is not a ding, just a fact. The beds are adequate, the kitchen is good sized, and the rooms are well sized for families. We stayed in the villa with the private pool. Since it was outdoors in March it was not useable, but it would be amazing in the summer. The only thing I wish this stay had was the ability to stream Netflix. Though vacationing in Spain, our kiddos are not fluent and being able to play a movie in their native language would be an easy upgrade with a smart TV. Proximity to all the beaches without having to deal with in-town crowds and/or parking was welcome. But this is very much a car-needed stay. The sidewalks/roads to the beach are a 14% grade and not for the faint of heart. The beaches are beautiful, Burriana is mostly small stones while the beaches near the Balcón de Europa are a nice shiny sand. The restaurants even in the off-season were wonderful. Recommendations for family friendly restaurants include Baker’s, Albi, and Mar y del Sol - would help new arrivals settle in quickly. The Mercadona is in your backyard and convenient. The indoor pool is small but adequate because it’s heated. We didn’t use the ‘arcade’ room, but it looks like it had a billiards table. I don’t know that it is a true ‘arcade’ room. Our kids loved the space to spread out and the indoor pool. Loved being able to get a massage and Methe was amazing!
