Villa il Palagio is a sensitively renovated villa in the heart of Tuscany. It now houses several apartments and is a seamless blend of historical architecture with contemporary finishes. This apartment makes the perfect base for both relaxing and visiting the jewels of central Italy, Florence, Arezzo and Siena.

The apartment sleeps 4 people. It has a spacious living room which is furnished with a stylish sofa and armchairs. The airy dining room is connected to the living room via sliding double doors. There is a table for 4 and a flat-screen TV. The separate, modern kitchen is well equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and fridge/freezer.

The outdoor space has been arranged with as much care as the interiors. The swimming pool has elegant sun loungers and parasols close by, where guests can relax after a refreshing swim. The grounds of the villa offer beautiful walks under the shade of the trees. Back indoors there is a communal games room where guests can meet and play billiards and table football.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is stylishly furnished with a king-size double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Location
The villa is just 45 minutes from Arezzo, 40 minutes from the centre of Florence and 1 hour from Sienna, so the finest cities in Tuscany are all within easy reach. Chianti - famous for its delicious wines, is less than 1 hour from the house. A trip to one of the many vineyards for a wine tasting makes a wonderful day out.

For keen shoppers, The Mall, a collection of internationally renowned Italian designer outlets, is just 5 minutes away.

There are some excellent restaurants in the area, but for self-catering, the local markets are not to be missed. Rignano sull’Arno (5 minutes) has weekly markets on Thursday and Saturday, where you can find the very best local produce to cook back at the villa.

Florence airport is just 40 minutes away. Please note that the pool is open from the 21st of May 2025 to the 23rd of September 2025
