Our luxury 2BR condo situated within the Solara Resort, has spectacular mountain views and is within walking distance to downtown Canmore and all restaurants and amenities. Just 10 min from the Banff National Park Gates, this location makes it a perfect home base for any activity including sightseeing, hiking, skiing, golfing (World Renowned Silver Tip Golf Course is in Canmore) or just relaxing and enjoying the views. This destination is central to all the best the Canadian Rockies has to offer including Lake Louise, Lake Moraine, Banff, Icefields Parkway, Kananaskis, Jasper and much much more.

As for the condo itself situated on the 3rd floor, our two balconies offer plenty of sun and a clear, unobstructed view of the 3-Sister Mountain Range. Our two bedroom suite features a gourmet designer kitchen with granite countertops and state of the art stainless steel appliances, dining room seating for six, wine fridge, living room with pull out leather couch providing additional sleeping space, flat screen TV's (1 in every room) with complimentary cable, free high speed WIFI, BBQ on balcony and a washer and dryer. The bedroom suites each offer a king bed, with the ability to convert the second bedroom king into 2 twins if desired and there is a safe in each room. The bathrooms are spa-inspired with stone vanities, deep soaking tub and steam shower unit.

Great comfy apartment for our stay in the Rockies

My partner and I and two friends stayed in Christina apartment for three weeks whilst we skied the area. Plenty of apartment amenities, full cooking equipment was well appreciated. Christina was very responsive and quick to help with any questions. Everything is straight forward and well documented. Park pass is appreciated turns out it worked for Jasper as well. There are some great food spots a short walk away and even not bad coffee and gourmet items on site. Possibly the only negative is the internet is great most the time but at peak times eg 7 pm Saturday it's basically unusable. I think the resort should look into upgrading it since I imagine summer is worse! Otherwise we loved our stay it was a much more affordable option then staying directly in Banff and canmore is a beautiful little town. The apartment is well put together for short stays and I would not hesitate to return.

Lovely location in Canmore

Enjoyed the property. Elevator was not working and we were made aware of that before booking but it was a bit is a hike with luggage up all of the stairs. Once elevator is fixed we would absolutely go back.

Great place at a great place

Overall, very much worth every penny spent. Clean and roomy with an incredible view. The owner was super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and stay here again

Ski Banff

We arrived to a cheerful, beautiful apartment. Beds are wonderful, kitchen is thoroughly equipped, balconies are amazing (great view of 3 Sisters), and the living room is verrry comfortable! Condo with a View

We loved this property—it was a short walk to downtown, and it had beautiful views of the mountains. We especially loved the master bath and the fireplaces. Of course we also stepped outside to the balconies to gaze at the beautiful mountains too. The parking garage was convenient, making it nice not to have to clean snow off the car. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub too. We enjoyed it so much we hope to go back.

First Time to Canada

This property was beyond fantastic in every way! It was clean, quiet, mountain views in every direction, close to Town Centre Canmore and Christina was above and beyond helpful. She even included places they preferred for dining. My wife left a souvenir bracelet in the condo and Christina's cleaning service found it and turned it into Christina who is returning it to us! The whole experience means we will absolutely contact Christina when we return to Canmore / Banff!!

The Perfect Celebration Stay

My husband and I chose this location because we were getting married in Banff. I HIGHLY recommended this VRBO because it had the best view to enjoy coffee on the balcony, and so much room for us to get ready for our wedding. Will definitely be back!

A clean, well equipped condo in a convenient location. Offers little extras like a spice rack in the kitchen and a collection of brochures to help guests plan their travels. Communications with host Christina were clear and timely.

Rockies Great!! Host not so much!

Wouldn't stay here, Christine added a few hundred and accused us of damaging items and was not willing to work with us on the repair cost. Dishwasher was broken when we arrived and towels had bleach marks, but we were accused of causing both issues. Don't believe Christine ever visits the site and goes with whatever the maintenance people tell her or just enjoys taking money from people. Have been to other places and have had the host tell us we left the place cleaner than it was when we arrived.

Beautiful weekend in Canmore

Property was exactly as described with lots of amenities and a short walk to the centre of Canmore. Parking garage had plenty of parking, communication with Christina was excellent and it is in a quiet location, away from any traffic noise. Would highly recommend this beautiful property.

Clean-Comfortable-Canmore Condo

2 nice bedrooms with king size beds that are comfortable. Kitchen and laundry are state of set and deck has a BBQ grill. Excellent underground parking. Easy to get to Banff and lower cost.

Double 50th Anniversary Trip

Canmore at the Solara was great. The mountains were breathtakingly beautiful. We went to tea at the Fairmount Chateau and went up the gorgeous Icefields Parkway to the Athbasca Glacier. We saw beautiful tourquoise and emerald lakes. We loved our home base at the Solara. A trip we will always cherish.
