Jazz Fest retreat

Comfortable house to relax after a day at Jazz Fest. Walking distance and on the Greenway. We had a fantastic stay.

NOLA 2024

We had a great time in New Orleans. The house we stayed in was clean and tons of room for 6 adults and one teenage kiddo. The hosts were great with communication. We will definitely stay again the next time were in town.

Nice 5 Bdrm Near the Quarter

Nice 5 Bdrm property. Neighborhood is a little run down, in its current state, and this particular property sits on a corner overlooking a large drainage culvert which is quite an eyesore. We were comfortable for our 4 nights and found the house to have just about everything we needed. It was pretty chilly over New Years weekend so we did not enjoy the back patio area. Biggest complaint for the experience is that we had no hot water in either of the Master Bdrm sinks or the shower. Only the tub had hot water for some reason. We had read this same comment in an earlier review before we rented the house but just assumed that would have been resolved before we arrived. At the price point this house is at, you would assume that this would not be an issue. Overall, it was a nice experience but it is unlikely we would return here for the reasons stated above.

Plenty of Room

The house is spacious with plenty of room for our large family. The backyard has a great NOLA mural and is completely fenced for our small dog. We were able to get two cars into the driveway but we still used Uber. The master suite is very roomy. They provided a pack n play, tub and high chair for our granddaughter. Overall house is just as listed.

Thanksgiving 2023

We were multigenerational family group meeting in New Orleans for the holiday. The Vrbo was exactly as pictured and was perfect for us. It is located in a very urban area with so many places to shop and eat. The host was very good about checking to see if we needed anything and extra pots and pans were delivered to make sure we had everything needed if we choose to cook for the holiday. We visited the World War II museum and the kids loved the swamp tour. Beignets at Cafe Du Monde were the best!

Completely Blown Away!

While the house is absolutely amazing all in itself, the outside backyard area was just spectacular! So relaxing and functional to entertain, cook or just kick back and relax with a beverage. The neighborhood is quiet and in a very nice part of Mid-City to connect to all surrounding sightseeing areas of New Orleans.

Great house

This was a great house for our two families that stayed here with our dogs. The house was wonderful, but I could tell there had been high use. The sliding barn door handle needed a screw, so the handle could do circles. All of the cabinet doors/drawers in the kitchen had to be slowly closed otherwise they wouldn't close. I imagine the kitchen had everything you could need at one point, but I struggled to find a large bowl to make a Cesar Salad, so I had to use a large pot. The shower in the master bedroom did not have hot water, but the tub did, so it meant we had to take baths or use one of the other two showers, but that wasn't convenient with ten people total. We also happened to stay the couple of nights they were doing street work which started at 6:00a.m. two days in a row. Early wake up calls with pounding. I am providing a lot of information, but overall this was a PERFECT house for two families of five (total of ten) and our beloved dogs. It was convenient to get to the French Quarter (straight down Canal Street with the streetcar), the airport, and a walkable neighborhood (took less than 7 minutes to walk to Whole Foods or a neighborhood local restaurant bar). There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out in the house or in the backyard. We would TOTALLY stay here again, but I do hope that the kitchens materials are reviewed/refreshed to ensure everything that is needed to cook for a large group is present.

Family stay in New Orleans

We have a family of 11. There were enough bedrooms. But the mattresses were very bad, and there are only three bathrooms. The back yard area is nice. The refrigeration worked well. They neighborhood is getting nicer, but the neighborhood is not there yet. There is a Whole Foods blocks away. The supplies in the house are minimal. No cleaning supplies, a broom or anything to clean with. No spices left over from former tenants, maybe that's because of COVID, but there is nothing except salt and pepper. There is only one frying pan. The grill works great. Some small repairs need to be done to the house and the windows definitely need washing.

Very nice place

We enjoyed our stay! The area seems to be undergoing improvements but we were comfortable the entire time and there was a very nice greenway adjacent to the property as well as a great coffee shop a block away. Whole foods is also walking distance so that is nice. Communication with the host was good as well. There was a confusing issue with the original bill/charge but they were very responsive and helped to get it ultimately cleared up. Would happily rent this place again.

Great place for a girls’ trip

We loved our stay in NOLA. The property was adorable and had plenty of room for us to spread out. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is a little sketchy at night but we felt safe with using ubers and the security system.

Great house for Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family get together of 10 plus two pets. Having the LaFitte Greenway just across the street was great. The house was very comfortable, had everything we needed and very convenient to what we wanted to do.

Really loved the entire experience working with Redamo and the team. Great communication, beautiful property and perfect location. It's also a steal considering what you get! There's a bar a couple houses down so it was nice to have it so close to the house. Highly recommend! The pictures are great but does not do the house justice.

Great place to stay and such a great location

Me and 7 of my friends stayed at this place for a girls trip. Every girl that came was in awe of how gorgeous, spacious and clean the place was. We all felt very safe staying here and we really enjoyed the outside back yard. It is such a nice place to hang out and relax, one of the girls even did yoga every morning! We also loved that it was 3 miles away from the french quarters. For us ubering everywhere this is a huge plus! I highly recommend staying here. The hosts were so nice and speedy with any questions I had. You will feel right at home on your next trip to New Orleans if you stay here!

Family Celebrations

Our family visited NOLA, celebrating four birthdays and two wedding anniversaries. The house was beautiful as well as comfortable. Location was great not to far from main attractions. We will definitely rent this property again when we return. Thank you.

Perfect In So Many Ways

House was clean, beautiful and spacious. House had every kitchen appliance/utensil needed to grill/cook for 8+ people, so many games available to play, extra towels/wash cloths and toothbrushes. Location was perfect. We took the trolly during the day and Uber at night. Only $10-15 Uber rides to nearby areas (Walmart, Walgreens, Restaurants, Airport). Host was very responsive and provided awesome restaurant referrals. I highly recommend and will stay again next time we visit.

Perfect first time!

This property is located in Mid City and a wonderfully diverse neighborhood. From the green belt across the street, to neighbor Mrs Green, the New Orleans Boxing Club and an Art, Jewelry and Music Market on Friday night across the street, this was such an unexpected cultural emersion into NOLA. Close to everything! Starbucks, Garden District and French Quarter, Whole Foods and the great Ruby Slipper restaurant. My family and I had a great stay! We’ll be back and def rent another Redamo property. They are super responsive to any communication and this house is perfectly appointed.

A GREAT house in a central location

Wow! Our group was celebrating two birthdays. There were seven of us -- two couples and three singles. The house was absolutely perfect in every way. Such great space to cook, grill, lounge, watch movies, and enjoy one another's company.

Enjoyed the stay

The property was true to it's listing. Everything was clean and well kept. I wish we could've taken advantage of the backyard but it was too cold. Management was so kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. Whoever designed the home made sure to capture new contemprary with a splash of NOLA. Great upcoming location and ideal for tourist.
