This cozy Rockies unit is our home away from home & we want you to feel the same way. Walk to the ski area in 10 - 15 minutes or take the town bus, which comes around every 15 - 20 minutes. Travel around town and to the ski resort easily, with a bus stop 200 yards from the condo door, or use the winter seasonal on-call shuttle. Relax in the shared hot tub and pool area, open year-round, or utilize the condo complex's community room with a television, games & exercise equipment for your use. This first floor unit has a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy your morning coffee or happy hour in the summer.

Great location for short stay

Stayed 3 nights for late season ski days. Shuttle picks up right next to parking, super convenient. Condo is larger than seen in photos, ample space for 3 people. Would recommend king size bed as bedroom is definitely large enough, TV in master would be nice and upgrade to kitchen...older cabinets and fridge was like stepping into a time machine back to the 70's...made it harder to function as well when cooking. But again that wasn't our main focus, Steamboat is beautiful and this location is perfect.

Great condo, great location in steamboat

Great property; convenient location to the base at steamboat (very short shuttle ride, not a bad walk even in ski boots). The condo is just as advertised and has everything you need for a ski trip. Great hot tub, pool area. Would stay again.

Fine enough

It was good enough. Owner was very nice. Had to watch the Super Bowl on iPhone because the tv was not working. If that’s the worst thing, then I really have no complaints. I recommend it

Good location

This condo is a 15” bus ride to the ski base and a 5” ride home. The bus stop is very convenient. No full flights of stairs to carry gear up and down. There was a folding partition if needed for privacy if someone was sleeping in the living room. The bed was comfortable and linens of good quality. For those cooking a lot, the kitchen could use better knives and utensils. Appreciated containers for storing food. It has a nice gas fireplace. The unit could use a little tlc. Communication with host was good. There is a laundry area and hot tub in the next building. Good value.

We had a great stay! Nice location. The place was cleaned well, sheets had a dirty spot but found clean new sheets in closet. Overall I'd give 5 out of 5 stars!

The property was amazing. We always stay in these condos when staying in steamboat. My only issue was communication. I accidentally deleted the email with the door code. I left 2 messages with the property management company, they never called back. Luckily I was able to retrieve the email with the code from my deleted messages. I’ll still stay there again but a call back would have been nice.

Comfortable

IT IS NOT WALKABLE DISTANCE TO SKI HOWEVER: It is my 5th year of skiing at Steamboat. Always was renting ski in/out or short walk. From description difficult to know if can walk, even on the map it looks like it is close. You can’t, so we used bus system. Actually found out that using bus system very easy, convenient. Easier then walking. Condo is comfortably located on 1st level, bus stop at the entrance to the complex. Buses are running exactly on time. Condo has all important supplies for cooking. Fairly comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. Living room has nice pulled out partition to separate it from kitchen. Only kitchen table is too big for the area, making it difficult to use. Owners responsive and super helpful. Complex has very nice swimming pool & 2 hot tubs, fairly short walk from condo across long parking lot. Would definitely stay again.

Nice place!!

Nice condo and very comfortable! I stayed here with my daughter for six nights so she could compete in some ski races at Steamboat and Howelsen. The condo is very comfortable. It doesn't have granite countertops and stainless steel appliances or a butler, however, it is really nice and very comfortable. The condo is a 10 minute walk to Steamboat or 10-30 mins on the bus (depending on how long you have to wait for the bus). The bus stop is just outside the door to the condo and across the parking lot. My daughter and I walked to the hill carrying skis and had no issues. We rented a day locker for our shoes but many people just leave their shoes under a bench. The condo had a lot of basic pantry items. The pans were fairly decent which was a surprise as most VRBO's we rent have terrible pans (we like to cook). I slept on the pullout and gave my daughter (the athlete) the bed. The pullout was comfortable for a pullout and I slept well. Overall we were very happy and would rent again!

Spacious one bedroom condo

Had a great time at the condo. Good times with good people. Was really nice to utilize the hot tub after a hard day of skiing. Short walk to the gondola and easily accessible buses and shuttles thanks.

Great location, all the needed amenities

Robin was very helpful in resolving an unforseen problem, and worked hard to get things set up for our stay. The unit was close to the shuttle bus stop, so was very easy to get to the base of Steamboat and skiing. The condo was quiet and the kitchen was well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, helping to be ready for the next day's skiing. It also has access to a workout room, pool and hot tub. Robin also shared some great options in town for restaurants and activities for the non-skier. Only concern was tobacco smoke smell in the unit either from previous user, or the next door smoking permitted unit. Thanks Robin!

Great location!

My friends and I were very pleased with Robin's place. It was nice that is was on the ground floor and didn't have to mess around with stairs really after a day of being on the slopes. It also ended up being about a 10 minute walk to the gondola, so we walked there and back each day instead of waiting on the bus which was also about a 10 minute ride. It was close, but also far enough off that it was really quiet. We saw neighbors, but never heard them. Checking in and out was a breeze and Robin had all the information we would need (along with grocery rewards cards which was nice). The only bad part (and had nothing to do with Robin or the place) was that the day after we arrived, apparently they emptied the community hot tubs and it then took a while for the new water to heat up, so we didn't get to enjoy them. Would definitely recommend!

Comfy condo

Three of us stayed for 6 days mid-March. Robin was easy to communicate with. The condo is as described, a tad nicer and bigger than the photos show. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials. Free ski shuttle stops in front of the building every twenty minutes. Our teenage son found the pullout sofabed in the living room comfortable to sleep on, and he's fussy. We found the queen bed comfortable also. Of note there is a folding wood paneled built-in room divider to provide as much or as little privacy as you wish between the living room sofabed area and the kitchen and table area. Nearby hot tubs and pool were a bonus. Good value for a basic but comfortable Steamboat condo. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
