The sound of silence behind the birds chirping is the ideal way to wake up, or to drift off to an afternoon nap. Don’t be fooled for a second though, this charming cottage is not far from the historical town of Jedburgh with the other towns easily accessible. The plethora of activities and sites that surround you will cater for everyone and will certainly burn off the energy, so pop your feet up and relax in front of the wood burner when you get back.
The cottage is ideally suited to a couple with it having one bedroom, and accommodation is all on the ground floor. In addition to the bedroom, the well equipped dining/kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and snacks on your trip, with all the utensils and appliances you would expect; the dining table is even big enough to have a couple of guests over for dinner. The bathroom may be of interest, with accessible grab rails and a walk-in shower and bath. Outside, there is a delightful area for sitting and enjoying the scenery, and there are 2 parking spaces. Nearby Jedburgh is famed for one of the finer abbeys in the area, more to that Mary Queen of Scots herself used to reside in the town regularly, and a museum in the very house is a great way to spend a few hours. Beyond Jedburgh to the North, South, East and West, the expanse of activities is mind boggling and we’re sure you will certainly not be bored.
