It surrounded by a beautiful garden with several terraces, where you can enjoy the sun and the solitude of nature. You can bring your family or friend's group here. The green landscape and location on the crest of the Utrecht Hills offer many opportunities to enjoy nature. You can take a lovely walk on one of the marked paths or explore the area by bike. The Henschotermeer (lake in Woudenberg) is great for a day out. A visit to the charming city of Utrecht, Amersfoort, Wijk bij Duurstede is also ideal. National Park: Utrechtse Heuvelrug will introduce you to castles, museums, meadows and nature. Central heating keeps you cozy. The spaciously laid-out kitchen invites you to prepare a tasty meal. While sitting together in the living room, you can watch movies or listen to songs. The garden is a paradise for your children as they romp and play freely. Parking and bicycle storage is available. Note: The house is not suitable for the disabled.

Absolutely wonderful experience!!
This is a beautifully restored Dutch Farmhouse where rustic and modern have been perfectly blended. It was so clean and the owners are so welcoming to guests. We were a group of 7 and there was plenty of space. We can’t wait to visit again! Het was erg gezellig!

Peaceful Idyll
It was a special pleasure to stay in this heritage farmhouse and in this beautiful and peaceful environ. The beds were very comfortable, and downstairs washroom and toilette immaculate and comfortable. We appreciated many of the same amenities we have at home, in terms of laundry facilities etc. However, the one disappointment - and it is a serious one requiring attention - constitutes safety hazards. Three persons in our party fell in the front entrance. It seems in renovating this area, design and form took precedence over function. There is nothing in the front entrance flooring to indicate the many levels and uneven stair rises. This is a safety issue which needs immediate attention.

This is a beautiful farmhouse; a lovely mixture of traditional and modern. Cozy, yet spacious. Many bedrooms, bathrooms, and seating areas. Great for family or for group of friends. We were there during a cold weekend, but the house was a great stay. The patches of forest and towns in the vicinity were still very inviting for walks. And - not unimportant - the hosts are excellent: clear communication, and very helpful if need be. Cannot recommend enough.

Bij aankomst waren we verrast door de prachtige ligging van het huis in de natuur met een weids uitzicht en een tuin rond het huis. De ontvangst was goed geregeld. We kregen een rondleiding en zagen dat het huis heel gezellig en volledig ingericht was. En de bedden waren al opgemaakt! We hebben op dit adres een heerlijk (familie)weekend gehad.

De hoeve is een heerlijke woning, van alle gemakken voorzien. De aankomst was al een feestje bloemen in de keuken en de woonkamer en een welkomstmandje met lekkere dingen op de keukentafel. Verder alle bedden opgemaakt, alles aanwezig. In de omgeving is van alles te doen, maar je kunt ook in de tuin gaan zitten en de Utrechtse Heuvelrug op je in laten werken. Op zaterdag hebben we cultureel gedaan eerst een rondleiding bij het Arboretum in Doorn met ontvangst met koffie taart, daarna een lunch in de Oranjerie van Huis Doorn met aansluitend een rondleiding door het Huis. Zondag was een sportieve dag een kanotocht vanuit Cothen (de Pronckheer) met koffie taart, een lunch halverwege in de boomgaard van boer Tom en aan het eind stond de borrel klaar bij de Pronckheer. We hebben een geweldig weekend gehad met een heerlijk huis als uitvalsbasis. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Omgeving is prima. Het huis heeft zeker potentie maar is echt aan een fikse opknapbeurt toe. Zowel qua entree almede qua schilderwerk. De inrichting is qua meubilair erg pover en de zitbanken/stoelen zijn qua zitcomfort absoluut beneden peil en aan vervanging toe.
