No wonder that super affluent people have chosen this extraordinarily beautiful spot which happens to sit in the middle of a 40-mile stretch of nearly untouched Atlantic Ocean beaches, and at the edge of hundreds of square miles of cork oak fields, vineyards, and rice fields. Guided horse riding tours will be a unique way to explore the picturesque landscapes, providing thrilling horseback adventures through rolling hills, dense forests, and even along the breathtaking coastline.

Traditionally the houses in this region are made out of rammed earth construction methods called taipa (mud walls). It is an excellent thermal and acoustic insulator. Air conditioning is not essential but fans can be provided if necessary.
