My name is Clay Gillespie. My wife Irene and I have been very happily married for 29 years. We have 4 children, triplets (two girls and a boy) and another boy. It has definitely been a whirlwind raising 4 children who are all within a year apart, but we wouldn't change a thing.
I grew up in a small Louisiana town called Ponchatoula - about 90 minutes from the Sandhill Beachhouse. I attended college at Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana. Shortly after college, I moved (of all places) to Cherry Hill, New Jersey. That's where I met the love of my life - Irene, a Jersey Girl - born and bred.
We raised our family in a suburb of Chicago called Arlington Heights. 3 Years ago, we moved to Franklin, TN (outside of Nashville), where we currently reside.

Why they chose this property
We own both Sandhill Beachhouse as well as the Seagrass Beach Cottage just next door. I immediately fell in love with both of these properties, their charm and character, not to mention the serenity of their own private beach right on the Gulf of Mexico. Our favorite part of Sandhill is the oversized covered back porch, where we can sit all day, taking in the breathtaking views and sounds of the ocean.
Ultimately, Irene and I plan to retire here, but in the meantime, we are pleased to share our home as a vacation rental property.

What makes this property unique
The most desirable benefit of Sandhill Beachhouse is, well, the BEACH! It sits on its own private natural white sand beach. The sounds and views of the Gulf are absolutely spectacular, whether taking them in from the oversized back porch, the gazebo on the beach, or from your beach chair right on the water.
The home itself is a charming southern beauty, with open floor plan, soaring ceilings, and spacious rooms. Oh, and the elevator is pretty cool as well.
