Brand new house, only 5 minutes away from Playa Hermosa and Parque Marino Ballena where you can see whales , dolphins, turtles and many other ocean life, staying at the house you can see a lot of different birds: lapas, loras, pericos, tucanes, cusingas and many small birds, you can hear and see wild life like monkeys cariblancos, congos, pizotes, etc. Also the house is only 5 minutes away from Uvita Town where you can find: grocery stores, restaurants, bakeries, sea food, medical services, pharmacy, banks, car rentals and many other services. The access to the house is paved, you don't need to drive 4x4, just 500 meters away walking you will find the most amazing ocean view at this area. Perfect combination between privacy, tranquility and beach.

Very private, yet convient location

I was seeking a private location that was a convenient location near beaches and the town of Uvita. The house was clean with all the necessary amenities, plus an excellent pool for relaxation. The owner was very accomodating, and readily available for questions. A pleasant getaway, and very affordable, rental on the Southern Pacific Coast.

A mixed experience

With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a large living room/kitchen space this house is a good choice for a large group. The house is modern and clean and on a nice lot with a front porch for bird watching and a swimming pool. However, there were some difficulties with the house. The property is hard to find. The owner has a very complicated security system which is difficult to disengage and re-engage. When we first arrived at the house I had to have the owner walk me through how to open the gate and disengage the system. The AC kept randomly failing in various rooms and the owner was not very responsive to telling us how to fix it. After a few emails he told us to “consult the manuals.” There was only enough hot water for one shower. During the rainy season be prepared to shovel mud from underneath the gate to get the gate open. Once we got accustomed to the house “quirks” our week-long stay was enjoyable.

Very good property

This is a very nice property in the forest and only about a 8 minute drive from central Uvita. The house is very well equipped and the pool is nice. You will have to drive on a gravel road for about 150 meters after the paved concrete one ends, but a 4 by 4 isn't needed.

Great apartment, super comfortable

Apt has everything you need, the bedrooms are super comfy with their on TV each, kitchen is full conditioned. Pool is perfect for the weather in Uvita

Great Family Vacation Spot!

Our family spent a month here. This gem was a great location. Close to the town of Uvita for the shops and beaches, but far enough away to feel like we had our own private oasis. The house had all the modern amenties, amazing showers and the place was spotless. The pool was awesome, bigger than we anticipated! We recommend a nice swim under the stars after a long day! Our hosts were great, very welcoming and professional. Even providing extra accessories for our young family, such as high chair and bassinet. We would definitely go back!

Clean and new in beautiful location

We stayed one week on the property. The house is clean and new, the pool is lovely, and the location in the forest with birds to sing to you all day long! It is very close to town and the main road. It is a quiet and relaxing spot. We enjoyed our stay very much.
