About this property

Stay in an ancient house in Wales available for groups and short breaks

New large hot tub has arrived, now undercover area for year round use.

The manor has 5 bedrooms and sleeps 10-15 guests. We welcome guests for weekends and short breaks.

Located only 20 minutes from Bristol, 30 minutes from Cardiff, and 35 minutes from the ancient roman town of Bath. It is the perfect location for touring both England and Wales.

We do live on site but you may never see us as you have your own front door, and key-box for access, there are no shared spaces. Guest accommodation is on the 1st and 2nd floors where you have exclusive use during your stay. You are unlikely to see us unless we pass on the driveway while walking the dog.

The Manor is only 100 yards from the Norman Castle at Caldicot with its 55-acre country park. Located in a quiet village and surrounded on three sides by a high stone makes this an amazing place to relax and enjoy life.

The Medieval Manor exudes an inner warmth, and unique charm. Lavishly furnished with antiques this unique opportunity to enjoy life in a medieval manor should not be missed. The manor is a special place but is very much an ancient farmhouse, we welcome groups with children and and pets.

The Medieval Manor is located on the southern tip of the Wye-Valley, which is an area designated for its outstanding natural beauty. The manor is only 100 yards from the Norman Castle at Caldicot with its 55-acre country park. Located in a quiet village and surrounded on 3 sides by a high stone wall. As we live on site and so we are available if needed, however we give you your space and you are unlikely to even see us unless with pass when walking the dog. There are no shared spaces, the manor is very large and guests have exclusive use of the 1st and 2nd floors with their own driveway and front door. Please note we do not normally start bookings on Saturdays.

We are happy to welcome pets at the manor but dogs staying over 9 months of age must be spayed or neutered and kept on a lease when outdoors.
