About this property

Georgian 2 bedroom Ground Floor Apartment. Walking Distance to Chichester with Free Parking Onsite.

Ideally located in a quiet residential area of Chichester, our apartment serves as an ideal base for both business and leisure travellers. Accommodating up to six guests, it offers a homely ambiance perfect for families or two couples. Conveniently situated just a few minutes' walk from Chichester College,
also within walking distance of Chichester Festival Theatre, and the University & College, this apartment provides easy access to the main high street, with an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Our apartment is light, bright and spacious. The lounge has a gas fire place that guests are welcome to use and plenty of comfy seating surrounding the fire. There are plenty of books for guests to read during their stay located in bookshelves in the lounge. Large double doors in the lounge let in lots of natural light and open up onto the shared, walled garden.

The apartment is located on the ground floor and it has one very spacious bedroom with a king size bed and also a single bed. This makes an ideal family room if you are staying with young children.

There is a second bedroom with two other single beds and in the lounge, there is a sofa bed suitable for 1 person.

The bathroom is light and has a bath, toilet and sink. Please note that there is no shower. The kitchen/diner is fully equipped for self catering purposes and has a dining table and chairs looking out to the garden.

The apartment is part of a block of 5 other apartments. Guests have access to a shared walled garden & has free parking for one car.

A welcome pack is left out for our guests upon arrival which consists of -
Tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels, cloths, hand wash, cooking spray, dishwasher tablets, rinse aid, matches, sun cream, tissues, hand sanitiser, bin bags, scrubbing brush, salt, pepper, fire lighters, pen and tinfoil as well as a some goodies including chocolates and sweets!

We also include shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom and hand wash at each sink.

We can provide a travel cot (please provide your own linen) and high chair along with baby packs 0-2 years and toddler packs 2-4 years. Items are subject to availability and requested in advance for shot stays only. All items are to be left in the property at the end of your stay. They will be cleaned and sterilised between each use.

Local Area

Ideally located only a few minutes walk from the city centre, it offers easy access to the many shops, bars, restaurants and cafes that Chichester has to offer.
The city walls walk and Chichester cathedral are great if you like to soak up the history of the city. Chichester canal is a 10 minute walk away and from here there are often boat trips on offer or you can take a walk along the canal to Chichester Marina.
If you are visiting for a Theatre show, Chichester Festival Theatre is a short walk away and offers an excellent programme throughout the year.
Chichester boasts many beautiful parks, some of which with play equipment for children. Oaklands Park, Priory Park and Bishops Palace Gardens are all a short walk away and offer stunning views of this historic city.

If you are looking for a place to stay whilst attending a Goodwood event, including Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Members meeting, Goodwood Revival or Goodwood Horseracing - the apartment is only a 11 minute drive away. There are many taxi companies operating in the area, please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any help in organising this.

A car is not essential with this property as there is a bus and train station in Chichester.

If you are in need of food shopping, petrol or a pharmacy, Tesco Extra is only a short walk away. A short walk away is the village of Parklands. Here, you will find a playpark and playing field, along with a small parade of shops including a co-op, butchers, post office, pharmacy, takeaway pizza and an excellent fish & chip shop. It is also within an easy walk of Chichester college.

Getting Around: The apartment is situated in a quiet residential quarter of Chichester. It is just a 2 minute drive to the A27, offering excellent transport links if you are exploring further afield or if you are arriving from Gatwick or Southampton airports or Southampton port.

Perfect stay for our family!
This lovely place had everything we needed for a longer stay in Chichester. The building is beautiful, the flat cozy and welcoming, and my children loved all the toys and books. It's a short walk to the centre of Chichester and to a larger supermarket, and easy to get around by public transport or to reach by car. We really felt at home here, and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The apartment is a great base to explore the local area. The South Downs Countryside and South Coast are a short drive away. As are the Goodwood events including Horse Racing, Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival.
It is nearby to the A27 offering easy transport links towards Brighton and also Portsmouth and beyond.
The apartment is also within walking distance of Chichester City Centre which is home to the Cathedral, parks, museums and plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
