Freshly renovated, this spacious abode features 3 bedrooms, including a daybed, and 2 bathrooms, all fully furnished. The highlight is its two-level decks offering spectacular views of the ocean, with the beach just a few steps away, making it a perfect retreat for a weekend, a week, or a month.

Designed with an open floor plan, the home encourages social gatherings in the kitchen and living room areas, all while offering uninterrupted beach views. On the first floor, the master bedroom comes with a full bathroom. The second level includes two more bedrooms: one with four twin beds and another with a queen-size bed, sharing a full bathroom.

Location was amazing but..

Location to the beach was awesome with an awesome view. When we arrived the AC was set to fan (as the check out instructions say) and the house was at 94°. It took all night to cool it down. There were roaches and the pantry smelled of roaches.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!

What a great property! This house had EVEYTHING we needed and the added bonus of having our dogs was such a treat! Quick walk to the beach, quiet area and the wrap around porch was perfect for our group. The house layout was great, plenty of room and we LOVED the vintage style video game upstairs. We will stay here again!

The perfect beach place; sea, sand, clean and cozy!

This is one of the best VRBO beach rentals we’ve stayed in. The hosts are wonderful and have gone above and beyond to make their beach place feel like a cozy home-away-from-home. It’s been beautifully updated too. The ocean view is perfect and access to the beach is an easy one-minute walk on a private path. There are no cars allowed on this part of the coast so it feels very safe for people and pets. The home is very comfortably furnished and really well-stocked with essentials. It was spotless when we arrived. There is a newer charcoal BBQ. The propane BBQ was not working. I let the owners know and the next day they brought a new one. These are very responsive owners and care about their guests. The location is quiet, private and an easy drive into Galveston. There are good restaurants close by too. The small fenced yard is a huge plus. There is wildlife everywhere and we saw and heard coyotes. Having a safe place to let our dogs out at night is important. We highly recommend this lovely beach home and will definitely rent it again the next time we visit the area.

Great house for a mid-sized group

Just my wife and two kids on this trip, but this would be a great house for two families to share. Great location, very close to the beach. On the older side, but kept up pretty decently.

Great location!

The property is in an excellent location with a great view of the surf for a property that is a row or two back from the beach. The beach was right there and directly accessible which was very important to us. The layout of the home was as advertised and could accommodate more people, although we enjoyed the space to ourselves! We had an unusual problem when we arrived that the water was shut off, but the owner and city were very responsive and we had it on within an hour (someone had accidentally left if shut it off while doing maintenance on a nearby property). The property is a little worn and needs some maintenance. The place does feel like someone's weekend 'cabin' rather than a home - just needs some TLC and maintenance. Overall it was what we expected and we enjoyed the weekend!

Great Location

Location is great! maybe a minute walk to the beach which was not crowded. Also people cannot drive on it so no need to look out for car or golf cart traffic. Good porch cover. We would stay there again. Pet friendly is a plus for us.

Not impressed

The property didn't have a coffee pot. The upstairs door kept opening and closing throughout the night keeping our children awake. The upstairs shower leaked through the downstairs bathroom ceiling. The mirror in the bathroom was about 6" diameter. Would not stay here again nor would I recommend to others.

Great house!

This was a great place to stay for a relaxing weekend! It was perfectly located so the beach was never crowded but not to far from Galveston city. Only minor problems we had were that the grill was extremely dirty (no big deal we cleaned it and put foil down) and the main toilet ran constantly (again no big deal for us) Thank you for letting us enjoy your house!!

Lovely Home with a great location on a quiet beach!

The home was perfect for our family and dogs. The fenced in part of the yard did not have stickers and the gates were perfect for allowing the dogs to move freely from the porch down to the yard. They really enjoyed looking out at what everyone was doing and watching the waves roll in! We had a great time and are looking forward to staying there again!

Best ever and will be back

The house is setup perfect for dogs as well as kids. We loved the stay and look forward to more in the future. It is very well stocked. We brought way more than we needs to and left paper plates cups and other things there. I am always worried about my dogs which are our kids and I am completely comfortable bring them all again. Thank you so much for the stay.

Great Beach Getaway

We - the humans and dogs - thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and inviting. Just steps away from the gulf, we too enjoyed the quiet, semi-private beach where we were able to leave our chairs and canopy behind each day for our return. We will definitely return soon for more GTX fun!

Nice little getaway

This little house near the beach is cute and feels like a little cottage. It is not directly on the beach, but a short walk away. Good amenities with exception of the beds. They were very uncomfortable- the main floor bedroom has a super hard mattress on it so not a great place to rest. Other than that, it was fabulous. Super nice people to rent from. Close to a couple of fun places and the beach is very quiet nearby so loved not having a crowd to deal with. We had to strip all of the beds prior to leaving which is somewhat odd since we paid a pretty hefty cleaning fee. The dishes from the last renter were also still in the dishwasher but at least they were clean. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The owners could make a few minor changes as mentioned and this place would be perfect!

Great location and Place to stay

This property is located right off of the beach and is near local dining, swimming pool and marina. The 4 separate beds upstairs are perfect for the kids with private sleeping quarters for parents attached. The private bedroom downstairs is comfortable and cool throughout the night. The extra sleeping room provided in the living room and study makes this location a great choice for groups of all sizes. They have everything you need and they are PET friendly! Our family (2 legs and 4 legs) enjoyed our weekend get-a-away. I highly recommend this property if you are headed to Galveston for a weekend or week(s).
