About this property
Pass the Keys | Charming 3br Listed Cottage in Historic Wigtown
About this space
Our beautiful listed cottage is in the heart of the historic town of Wigtown. Cosy & welcoming but with plenty of room, the cottage is over 3 floors with good size bedrooms.
The fully equipped kitchen leads to a large conservatory looking to the patio area & garden beyond, the perfect place for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
A fantastic base for exploring the many sights & activities around the region, it is ideal for walkers & cyclists or those who simply love to relax!
The space
Located in the heart of Wigtown (Scotland's book town), the cottage has been sympathetically renovated to expose the original stone construction. Nestled within a row of similar cottages, the cottage is deceptively large inside.
On the ground floor, you will discover the cosy sitting room, ideal for family games on the Wii or relaxing in front of the tv in the evening.
There is a ground floor cloakroom for convenience and a charming fully equipped kitchen with dining table ideal for family meals, a quick lunch or starting the day with a relaxed breakfast.
Leading on from the kitchen is a large conservatory, the perfect suntrap, it is a lovely area to relax and unwind with a book or to recharge after a day walking or cycling. The conservatory looks onto the patio area with outdoor seating, beyond is a large well maintained garden.
On the first floor you will find the king and double bedrooms, both spacious with plenty of storage, the comfortable beds will ensure a great night sleep.
The first floor main bathroom is light and modern with fantastic shower.
On the second floor is a large attic bedroom with 2 single beds.
The cottage is both charming and spacious and will quickly become your home from home.
Furry friends are welcome at an additional cost of £30 per pet, this is to cover the cost of additional cleaning.
Guest access
You will have sole use of the entire property and gardens.
There is ample free on-street parking directly outside the property.
