Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this lovely cottage, yet only a few miles from stunning gardens and sandy beaches.. 1 step to entrance.

Bedroom 3: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner available locally. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate.. Back garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking.. Galloway Farmstay - Broughton is set in a peaceful location with far reaching views out over the beautiful countryside. Galloway Farmstay is designed with comfort in mind to make your stay here memorable. The sitting room has a large wood burning fire perfect for those cosy nights in after a day exploring. The kitchen is very well equipped and where you can cook up a meal to enjoy with family and friends around the large dining table. Every room at Galloway Farmstay has wonderful countryside views.
The area surrounding Galloway Farmstay is breath-taking from the rugged coastlines and secluded sandy beaches and inland the Galloway Forest Park, Britain’s largest forest park with 300 square miles of wild beauty and where you will find the world renowned 7Stanes Mountain Bike Trail at Kirroughtree. There are many pretty little harbour villages to visit like Garlieston, just under 3 miles away, where you can walk along the sandy beach or the Isle of Whithorn where you sail, fish, or just sit and relax overlooking the bay.
Visit Wigtown, which has officially been designated as Scotland’s National Book Town with a wide range of book related businesses, a book lovers haven. The larger town of Newton Stewart, known as the Gateway to the Galloway Hills, also has many excellent shops and places to eat. Further along the coast visit the many pretty little ports like Sandhead and Portpatrick, or visit Scotland’s most southerly point, the RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway Nature Reserve, where thousands of seabird’s nests in the cliff face during the spring and summer. For even more excitement back at Galloway Farmstay arrange a private Archery or Clay Pigeon shooting afternoon with Alistair!
