The magnificent 10m x 5m private heated swimming pool is set on the lower lawn out of sight of the house and is very private, with a security fence for safety.






Tall French windows lead from each ground floor room of the villa onto the South facing terrace – a real suntrap and a lovely place to sit and enjoy the gardens with a glass of local French cider or Calvados followed by a game of boules.
Nestling below the house is a magnificent 10m x 5m private heated swimming pool. It is set on the lower lawn out of sight of the house and is very private, with a security fence for safety. The poolside terraces with sun loungers and poolside dining catch the sun all day.
The accommodation is on two floors with a staircase leading to each side where the bedrooms are situated. There are 2 double bedrooms (one which is en suite), a ground floor room with King Size bed and an en suite "wet room". This is fully wheelchair accessible, plus 2 twin rooms and a large triple/quad room that’s ideal for children. Please note the beds in this room are small singles - suitable for young children. With table tennis in the games room, wifi and stunning countryside all around, Le Mesnil Gonfroy is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday in Normandy.
The house is just one hour's drive mins drive from the ferry port at Ouistreham (Caen).

A door leads out from the ground floor bedroom to the front of the house.
Wide doorways throughout the tiled ground floor and French doors leading to sun terrace makes the house easily accessible for wheelchair users.

Also at ground floor level is a shower room with wash basin and W. C.
Upstairs there is a children’s bedroom, Chambre Verte, which is large enough to sleep 4 children in single beds.
To the left of the hallway is the lovely dining room with beamed ceiling and magnificent oak table which seats 14 guests.
Through the dining room is the spacious sitting room with comfortable seating and a feature fireplace with wood burner. Ideal for those cooler evenings! The Tv has French and Uk channels.
The kitchen has been beautifully fitted with modern appliances and units. These include a dishwasher, built in microwave and electric oven with gas hob. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is also a breakfast room with long oak table and benches to comfortably seat 8 guests.
More guest bedrooms are situated on the first floor and access is via the staircase in the lounge.
Bedroom 3, Chambre Orange, has a double bed and wardrobe.
Bedroom 4, Chambre Calme, has a double bed and ensuite shower and W. c. It also has a small wardrobe.
Bedroom 5, Chambre Bleue, has twin beds and a small wardrobe.
Bedroom 6, Chambre Jaune, has twin beds.
All the bedrooms have stunning views over the garden and the Normandy countryside.
There is a family bathroom with a bath, shower cabinet and WC.

Le Mesnil Gonfroy is designed as a house that really works for everyone. There is ample and accessible parking. Wide French doors lead from each ground floor room onto the flat terrace and gardens. The ground floor is tiled but all of the bedrooms are carpeted. There is a spaciou,s ground floor ensuite bedroom. This holiday home is perfect for both the elderly and less able, but also for young children.

The house is just 3km from the village of Hambye where there are bars, restaurants, boulangeries and a small supermarket.
L'Abbaye d'Hambye is a Benedictine medieval monastery located in the countryside of Normandy. It lies in the valley of Sienne in a rural preserved environment.
Also close by are stunning beaches. Well known attractions in the area include Mont St Michel and the Plages Débarquement (d Day landing beaches of Ww2)
