Stepping inside you have the kitchen with a dining area beneath a beamed ceiling, perfect for creating romantic meals to share. Also on the ground floor is a well-presented double bedroom as well as the shower room. Upstairs on the first floor you have the living room, with elevated views. This is the perfect choice for couples looking for a romantic rural getaway.
The owners have endeavoured to ensure that every guest has a wonderful stay, with a beautiful on-site swimming pool, which is kept at a comfortable 28C. The cottage is a couple of miles outside of the peaceful village of Cloughton, which has two friendly local pubs, serving lovely homemade meals. The nearest coastal spot is Hayburn Wyke, where you have a woodland walk with a waterfall cascading over the cliff top onto a secluded cove. There is an 18th-century coaching inn here, serving hearty meals as well as tasty desserts in front of a roaring open fire.
