About this property

Sweet Spot in Downtown St. Pit

Downtown St. Petersburg is a vibrant & exciting City abundant in the arts and culture. From our condo you can walk to pretty much everything! Pick your pleasure and I bet we have it. You really don't need a car as so much is walkable.
Museums, The Dali, Museum of Fine Arts, Holocaust Museum, St. Pete History Museum to name a few.
Sorry, no pets, unless you want to pay a $500 non refundable fee to the Association.

It would be impossible to list the abundant restaurants and breweries, art galleries, cool shops, incredible music venues and boutiques. Our community accommodates all taste free, vegan, or vegetarian? No worries, we have plenty of restaurants friendly to your taste buds.

From October through June, there is an open air market, the Saturday Morning Market, which has live music and interesting vendors all in an open air venue.

If sports are your gig, the Rowdies Stadium and our Rays Tropicana Field are also within walking distance and Raymond James Stadium, where our Tampa Bay Buccaneers play, is only about 30 minutes away.

But for us, the best of our beautiful City are our eclectic neighborhoods and our parks, our glorious waterfront parks which offer concerts, art festivals (Main Sail Art Festival is one of the largest juried art festivals in the county) of all kinds year round. Check out our City Calendar at for a calendar of events.

If you want to explore beyond your walking ability, there are "City Bikes" available throughout. Ride through our Grand Central, Edge and Midtown Districts which are abundant with Breweries and wonderful shops & eateries while enjoying the mural art tour.

Downtown St. Pete is simply fabulous and friendly. And if you want to enjoy the beach, we're literally just 20 minutes away!

We love our place and have worked hard to make it comfortable and enjoyable.

We have strict 30 minimum stay requirement due to Associations guidelines). No inquiries for discounted rates, please.

Cant go wrong. Everything is easy to walk to. Publix is only two blocks away. Other tenants in the building seem to be friendly. The laundry room was never busy. When you come enjoy this great city.

A perfect stay
This place had absolutely everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Everything in the place was very high quality, from the bed to the couches to even the bath towels. The owner was very quick to respond and checked in to make sure I had everything I needed for a nice stay. Also, the location was great and within walking distance to many places. This has been one of the best rental experiences I have had.

Really is the sweet spot
This property is just far enough from downtown to be quiet yet close enough for easy walking/biking to attractions and sustenance. Grocery and drugstore are three blocks away. The owner was always helpful and changed out the shower head and even a light bulb during our stay. Saint Petersburg is full of great galleries and museums so you will never be bored. Take the Crossbay Ferry to Tampa for a fun ride and great views. From the dock you can ride the free trolley to Ybor City.

I loved my stay at this comfortable, cozy and quiet apartment in the heart of downtown St. Pete. The host provided everything you could possibly need in terms of household supplies and necessities. She also was very considerate of my long and exhausting travels and accommodated my late arrival with a thoughtful presentation of comfort food and drink to get me through the next day. Off street private parking was also a plus. I highly recommend this rental.

Comfortable, quiet, clean apartment on third floor a 4-story elevator building in downtown St. Pete
3 weeks stay January 2018. Comfortable, quiet, and clean apartment on the third floor a 4-story elevator building in downtown St. Petersburg, near University of South Florida. Bayboro Tower was built in 1974. Pros: good location, can walk to downtown restaurants, museums, coffee shops and shopping - plus waterfront and parks. Host is friendly and responsive. Apartment is well equipped and well furnished, including a nice TV and ceiling fans. No carpet, so floors are clean. Pet friendly. Outdoor assigned parking is convenient. Beautiful mature landscaping around building. Cons: Windows have good blinds, which are needed because all the windows look directly into a seven-story parking garage that is lit at night. With the blinds closed it’s a non-issue. No washer/dryer in the unit, but the common laundry room is fairly convenient. Carpet in common areas is shabby.

Fantastic. The accomdstions were complete. Comfortable. I was there a month and felt at home. The residents are super friendly and helpful. The laundry room was great. All required was a credit card. No digging for change. The bed super comfy. Best location in town.

The condo is spotless and has everything you could need - fully stocked kitchen, bathroom, etc. The owner is so wonderful and accommodating and easy to get in touch with if ever needed. I would 100% recommend this place and would definitely stay there again!

Great condo & location!
THE condo to rent in The heart of downtown!! My family and I had a wonderful stay here in St Pete. The condo is very well appointed, decorated beautifully, and the location can't be beat!! Close enough to the action but on a quiet side road. We were within walking distance to anywhere we wanted to go - grocery store/shopping/restaurants/movie theatre as well as just a short drive to other area attractions (aquarium, bush gardens, outlets, etc.) I would definitely stay here again and recommend this condo to anyone staying in St. Petersburg. Eileen and Jim were perfect owners and were available if we needed them. Be sure to catch the Saturday farmers market too ;)

Couldn't be more perfect
All we can say is we were beyond happy with this find!!! The location is perfect. We really could walk to just about everything in downtown and the City Bikes were fun too! Grocery store, restaurants, shops, museums and more are really close by. We took an Uber to the beach (15 minutes and $12). Super clean and very well equipped. Extremely spacious and comfortable. Eileen and Jim checked on us to see if we needed anything. Wine cork was missing and we had a replacement in no time at all. Just wonderful experience.

FABULOUS FIND IN DOWNTOWN
My husband and I were the first to stay in the condo and boy they did things right!. First, the location is tremendous. We were able to walk to everything! There is so much to do in downtown St. Pete. there is a lovely outdoor market (Saturday morning market) with local vendors and live music. That was just great. It was new years time and we were able to walk to a ton of restaurants (choosing was difficult because there are so many). American Stage is a local professional theatre which is small and intimate. Fabulous talent. So many shops, art galleries, museums and the downtown waterfront is simply stunning. We really appreciated we were able to walk to most everything, including a great full on grocery store and drug store. WE did take an Uber a few nights when my shoes were not conducive for walking. :-) I don't think I would even bother to rent a car next time because it sat in the parking lots most of the days we were there. Eileen and Jim were very helpful and the place is sparkling clean and decorated very nicely. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed ourselves immensely.!

About the host

Host profile image
My husband and I have lived in St. Petersburg from the mid 70's. We have raised our 2 children here and we thoroughly cherish our sweet city of St. Petersburg.

After having enjoyed the benefits of VRBO for years when we travel, we decided to jump in! Our condo is in a very solid building (very quiet) and the location is fabulous. We "inaugurated" the condo on New Years Eve, 2016 and it was perfect.

Why they chose this property

Location, mostly and the quality of the construction and finishes.

What makes this property unique

Walking distance to so much of our amazing downtown waterfront area, just a few blocks!
