With stunning views overlooking the River Yare, this pretty holiday cottage also has a private terrace at the rear with garden furniture. This is an ideal spot to watch the activity on the river and beyond to the open acres of marsh land. The riverside village of Reedham has two pubs, both serving food, a shop, fish and chip shop, delicatessen with café, a quaint post officeand tea shop and a micro-brwery. Good walking, bird watching and fishing (in season, with the required licence) are all available nearby.
Within the Norfolk Broads national park there are miles of much-celebrated waterways to explore. You can enjoy a trip on the river or hire a boat at nearby Wroxham, the capital of the Broads. A short drive away are the wonderful sandy beaches and dunes along the Norfolk coastline - with coastal walks at Winterton, and seal watching at Horsey. Reedham is equidistant from the historic city of Norwich with cathedral, theatres, museums, shops restaurants and cafés, and the coastal resort of Great Yarmouth with traditional seaside attractions. Reedham’s mainline railway station means you can leave the car behind and jump on the train to explore Norwich and the coast. Trains into Norwich take just 13 minutes. Children will love Pettits Animal and Adventure Park, a mile away, the BeWILDerwood at Horning, a treetop adventure park, or Dinosaur Adventure Park at Lenwade. Beach 12 miles.
