The apartment was exactly what we were looking for (once we found it) and in an excellent location. Be advised that you'll need to walk up five floors (American) to reach the apartment.
This is a great location. Almost anything you’ll want to see is walkable. Yes there are a lot of stairs, but once the luggage is up, it isn’t that bad. Communication was great, and check in was very easy. It was very clean. WiFi is good. Plenty of hot water. Washing machine is small but works fine - use the express cycle - the others are very long.
Great property and location, right in the heart of Rome. Great restaurants within a few minutes, and easy walking distance to main tourist sites too
Inside the property you have all the essentials and two balconies, with views of Rome skyline.
We had a great stay here. The place was exactly as advertised (with the exceptions of steps to get to Penthouse. It was in a very active part of town and was centrally located so we could access everything. It was clean and all items were provided as promised
Great apartment with great views and right in the middle of everything.
The stairs were worth it for the rooftop patio!
Could have used more than one towel and check in was difficult.
Great location. The terraces provide sweeping views of the neighborhood. I loved the little bedroom on the top floor but there should be a warning that you need some agility to navigate the dollhouse spiral staircase.
Great property perfectly located within walking distance to all major attractions. Stunning views from both balconies. Nice hot shower which seems to be a hard thing to find in Italy. The stairs are no joke so it wouldn’t be the best option for anyone physically impaired, but well worth it otherwise. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it!
A cozy stay and beautiful view. I mistakenly thought the loft was usable for a sleep space as the access twirly stairs are in the photos but don’t exist. To be fair it’s advertised as sleeps 2, I was with my young adult son so I slept on couch cushions! Loved the terrazza and kitchen was well equipped I will miss the sounds of the church bells- they are in no way interfering. Grazie!
We had an amazing stay in Rome at this penthouse apartment in Campo de Fiori! It was exactly as pictured in the listing! It’s in a great location, walking distance to nearly all the main attractions. We loved having all the windows and doors open and just enjoying the view and hearing the hustle and bustle of Rome :) the property manager was very responsive and helpful and the check-in and out process was super easy. We want to come back and would love to stay here again!
Yes, the apartment is up a tiring flight of stairs (especially after a full days walking exploring Rome), but it is well worth it for the rooftop views. We found it cosy, warm and well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is in a superb location for accessing all the sights. We had 3 days, and half an hours walk in each direction covered the main attractions. The beds were made up for our late arrival and the checkin was smooth with the Vicki app, even though this was new to us. The spiral staircase required care, but this added to the quirkiness. All in all a lovely stay, enjoyed by all. Thanks
We loved this property. Awesome location. Be warned- the apartment is 6 floors up and then another spiral staircase to the bedroom. Not a big deal at all for us, but some msg struggle with this. Breathtaking views, close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again. One piece of feedback- we would have liked more towels and the water pressure was weak.
The apartment is beautiful! The hosts are delightful! They answered us on Christmas Eve, they even came to give us what we needed! The place has a great terrace where you can see many chapels. We enjoyed our time there. Visitors should be warned about the amount of steps. We had no problems with them, however, we believe that some older guests could find it difficult.
Overall, the apartment is great. The AC was a much needed welcome during the heat wave, especially after the stairs. The apartment is clean, has all you need, and it was a bonus to have a washing machine for laundry. We arrived late at night, and it was a bit hard to find… and the outside door was covered in graffiti, and it looked a bit rough. But it really was great, and in a convenient location to everything.
Don’t let the graffiti covered door on the street fool you! This apartment is in a great location in the historic city center. It is just as described in the pictures, with maybe a few more steps to the top floor than expected. But, it is a penthouse, and we spent a lot of downtime enjoying the views from the balcony. The nearby small and winding streets are filled with shopping and great restaurants. From the apartment, we walked to the Pantheon, Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and the Vatican. We really loved our stay here!
Perfect location at the Campo de Fiori, great views, two balconies, 20 minutes walk to Vatican, 20 minutes to Collosseum, close to everything!! ACs on each floor, washing machine and complete kitchen with everything we needed, including nespresso coffee machine :) Drinking water fountain at the building's door, grossery store right there and the best pizza/pasta places. Very happy we chose this appartment for our stay. Just be ready to walk the stairs to 5th floor, which was not a problem for us, just be aware. Our son loved second floor, it was his "tree house". Lots of fun for him. We loved having our meals on a balcony, especially to have a glass of a nice italian wine at the evening.
Beautiful views, great apartment, difficult check in!
The apartment itself was amazing. Very clean, had 2 balconies with awesome views of the city and its domes! Our only issue was we came from America and didn’t have phone service. The way to get into the main door is an electronic code, which does not work if you don’t have service or Wi-Fi. Our host sent someone to help us after an hour or so of trying. There was a little restaurant nearby that we were able to take refuge in until she could show up to let us in. Really nice people and great food! Other than check in, the apartment was great and exactly what I had hoped for! If you have a phone plan, check in should be easy!
When my mom and I arrived the first day we contemplated checking into a hotel when we discovered the staircase to get up. It was 97 steps, yes 97, up a steep and narrow staircase to get to the room. Definitely was rough especially after walking nearly 20,000 to 30,000 steps a day. Also the place did not really look like the pictures, its very small would be perfect for a solo traveler and in the pictures there's a cool spiral staircase in the main room (which is the only room aside from the small kitchen and very small bathroom) but that wasn't there. The view was nice and the location was good but I don't feel it was worth the stairs. The manager was nice and very helpful however I would never stay here again. Was very small, dying everytime we had to come up the stairs, looked more luxurious in the pictures. However I was thankful there was an AC unit so we were able to cool off.

Overall Not recommend
The location in Rome is great. It is right down an alley from a cute shopping and dinning street that leads to the Campo Di Fiore Piazza. It was also nice to have a washer. However, the apartment is much more sparse and dingy than the pictures in the listing represent. It is very difficult to find since there are 2 doors labeled with the same address and color and this rental. The stairs in the building and the set that lead to the apartment are unkept and filthy. Sparse shampoo and soap were provided but no water, coffee etc that every other vacation rental provides. The nightly price is too high for the condition of the unit. We were very disappointed and considering just getting another hotel while in Rome regardless of whether we got any money back. I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Lots of Problems
Filthy entryway with cracked mirror. Filthy sofa we didn't want to even sit on. Stove lighter was broken. Hand lighter to light the stove was also broken. TV didn't work, and faces the spiral stair so you couldn't watch it if it did work. Advertised as a penthouse, but more like a shabby apartment with a balcony. There are two balconies, but it's not better than one because they have essentially the same view. The bed had sheets, but no blankets, which made it cold. Supplies were not present, such as cartridges for the expresso machine, paper towels, and laundry detergent. Some of the windows were filthy. The windows had no screens, so getting fresh air in the apartment meant letting in mosquitos. It was missing dishes that would work in the toaster oven.
The positives: the balcony view was nice. The location is good (although it does enter through a back alley). After buying our own lighter and detergent, the stove and washing machine worked.
