Please be aware that that there are several steps within the property so not suitable for those with restricted mobility. . Honeysuckle Cottage is a four-bedroom, thatched holiday home nestled in the heart of the Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Guests will love the large private garden, the original features of the cottage such as the beamed ceilings and thatched roof and the spacious living spaces on the ground floor. This is the perfect base for a family of up to eight guests to enjoy a relaxing stay in the heart of the East Devon countryside.

As you enter the property, head into the cosy living room which is furnished with comfortable seating and a Smart TV with Freeview. The separate dining room is the perfect space to enjoy a home-cooked meal with family or friends. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to prepare a home cooked meal. The shower room is accessed from the kitchen and is fitted with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink.

After a busy day exploring the area, relax in the back garden which has a lawn, decked area, outdoor seating and garden furniture. This private space is a real suntrap with views across the countryside and it is a great spot for enjoying your morning coffee. As the evening draws to a close, head upstairs and drift off to sleep within one of the four well-presented bedrooms. Two rooms each have a double bed, the third has a kingsize bed and the fourth has a single trundle bed which can be set up as twin beds if requested. The family bathroom is fitted with a shower over the bath, toilet and sink.

Honeysuckle Cottage is the perfect base for exploring, from the Blackdown Hills and woodlands to the cliffs and beaches of the Jurassic Coast. Walkers, hikers, horse riders, cyclists or wild swimmers are all catered for in this beautiful part of the country. Explore the rolling countryside and moorlands, with easy access across the borders of Somerset and Dorset. Discover Dorset’s World Heritage Jurassic coastline and Somerset’s famous bustling market towns. Spend your afternoons at any one of the nearby beaches, where you can enjoy some sunbathing, paddling or paddle boarding! Take advantage of the location and visit Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Seaton and Sidmouth. Venture into the market town of Axminster, where you will be spoilt for choice by the amenities that await you, offering something to suit all ages and tastes.
