The open-plan living space includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, dining seating for two and a sitting area with TV. There is a double bedroom serviced by a shower room. Within 0.1 miles there is a shop and pub, whereas there is a beach in 1 mile. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in the price. Two well-behaved pets are welcome however smoking is not allowed. The Old Tractor Shed is a charming retreat in a bustling region of the North York Moors.

Cobbles from the seashore are used in the construction of many of the village's dwellings, both ancient and new. The ruins of Skipsea Castle may be found just outside the hamlet. The neighbouring countryside is ideal for walking and cycling, while the neighbouring seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey offer vast stretches of sandy beach and a variety of resort attractions. Hull's Deep Submarium, Sledmere House, and Burton Constable Hall are all within 20 miles, while historic York's shops, cathedral, and museum, Scarborough's resort town, and Pickering's North Yorks Moors Steam Railway are all within an hour's drive, and Whitby is only a short distance away, making Skipsea an ideal base for a relaxing holiday.
