The cottage is in a heavenly location near the tip of the Llyn Peninsula, only a short drive to Porth Neigwl beach and the many delights along this famous stretch of the North Wales coast. Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth) is a popular surfing beach, but also offers spectacular views, walks, and an abundance of wildlife - look out for harbour porpoises and bottlenose dolphins who shelter in the bay.
Leave the world behind and enjoy the timeless beauty of this special part of the Llyn. Drive down the windy lanes, steep-banked and thick with summer growth, and arrive at this traditional Welsh farmhouse.
A spacious holiday home perfect for tranquil getaways, the farmhouse dates from about 1840, although there was undoubtedly a dwelling here long before. There are plenty of original features providing texture and character, whitewashed beams overhead in the main living area and exposed stone walls and a feeling of cosiness enhanced by the large inglenook fireplace and wood burner, comfy L-shaped sofa and easy chair, large Flatscreen TV and lovely dining table and chairs.
Just off the living area is a large well-equipped kitchen with all mod cons and on the ground floor a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and freestanding bath. There are three pretty bedrooms are on the first floor together with a bathroom. Enjoy fine views from the little deep-set windows of Porth Neigwl in the distance. Take morning coffee on the small slate patio at the front with views across the fields to the wide bay of Porth Neigwl and the shimmering sea in the distance. A large slate patio at the back is a perfect spot for relaxing surrounded by large sycamore and ash trees with lovely views of rolling farmland dotted with grazing cattle and sheep, ideal for al fresco meals.
Drive down the country lanes to Porth Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth) and join the path here to enjoy the magnificent views of this dramatic bay. There are a variety of other beaches within easy reach from here including beautiful Whistling Sands, Morfa Nefyn, and many more.
What’s more the property’s central location on the peninsula makes it an ideal base to explore the breathtaking coastline and lovely selection of villages and towns that populate this revered holiday destination. Abersoch (5 miles away), Nefyn and Pwllheli (7 miles), and Aberdaron (9 miles) are all easily accessible from here offering a variety of places to eat, shop, or simply wander through.
