Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. . The spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen area has beautiful large antler chandeliers hanging from the ceiling along with table lamps and a real feeling of luxury. What you’ll also find in here is a relaxing L-shaped sofa and separate arm chair, and also flickering battery candles throughout giving a very cosy atmosphere at night. There is also a 50” Plasma Smart TV, Harris Tweed blackout curtains and an oak blind. For the beautiful log burner, a log package can be supplied at a small extra cost. The dining area is completed with a six seater oak dining table, which easily converts to a pool table. Also provided with napkins and place mats for your evenings dining in. The kitchen has a centre island breakfast bar with stool to pop yourself on whilst enjoying a glass of something fizzy. The kitchen also includes all cooking facilities, including a fridge with small freezer compartment housing ice cubes, Smeg kettle, toaster and a dishwasher. A twelve piece gold leaf full dinner service set with serving dishes and serving spoons, as well as a full China Tea service set, baking set, and full picnic set with glasses and cutlery (for use outside in the Summer House) will be provided for you. The large relaxing bedroom has a super king size bed accompanied with a Plasma Smart TV, dressing table with hairdryer and additional seating, a double wardrobe and a tall boy. Walk through to the bathroom with separate bath and double walk-in rain shower. Situated on a hillside in one of the most stunning locations on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Surrounded by undulating countryside with deep valleys and high moors and is convenient for exploring the attractions of the Peak District.
The area is home to excellent walking and with a host of attractions available in the vicinity. There are many stately homes to visit including Chatsworth House, and its 1000-acre estate, magnificent gardens, farm and craft shop, children’s farmyard, play area and restaurant, and nearby are Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall. The ever-popular Bakewell and Hathersage in the heart of the Hope Valley are also around 20 minutes and the beautiful honeypot village of Castleton and wonderfully historic plague village of Eyam are around half an hour. Matlock, with its cable car ride to the Heights of Abraham is also around 30 minutes, Edale, home to the start/finish of the Pennine Way and the spa town of Buxton can be reached in 45 minutes. A wonderful location for exploring this wonderful area whatever the time of year.
