Within 0.3 miles you will find a shop, within 0.8 miles you will find a pub, and within 1.3 miles you will find the beach, and please note that no pets are welcomed and that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Lodge is a lovely dwelling for a family break to Devon. Note: There are steps down from the patio doors to the lawn.

On the Dawlish River, Dawlish is famed for its Black Swans, who live alongside other wildfowl. During the summer, strings of coloured lights illuminate the water that runs through the central town park and down to the sea. Dawlish is a great place for a family vacation because it has a nice sandy beach and a crazy golf course nearby. Dawlish Warren, farther up the coast, can be accessed by car, train, or a strenuous walk up the sea wall for the more active. Dawlish mainline station, located further away, offers train service to Exeter, Exmouth, Torquay, Paignton, and even Plymouth.
