Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways presents Latitude Adjustment, designed with guest comfort in mind. A large deck stretches along the West side of the home with wind protection for your comfort. There is a sunken hot tub with direct access to the primary suite. Step off the deck where a private beach path leads right to the water's edge and a 7 mile stretch of sandy beach.

Upstairs the floor plan is open and bright, perfect for entertaining. The kitchen is beautifully appointed with stainless steel appliances. There are 4 total bedrooms, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom and bathroom downstairs. The primary suite is steeped in luxury with double vanity, tiled walk in shower, soaking tub and TV! On game day, hang out downstairs and enjoy rooting for your favorite team on the 75" flat screen TV with smart BluRay player. The wet bar is a perfect place to set out hors d'oeuvres and drinks. At half time have fun in the garage where there is a super game room with Pool, Ping Pong and Shuffle Board.

Guests of this home also have access to the Bayshore swimming pool on a daily fee basis. The swimming pool (open seasonally in the summer) schedule of swim times will be posted at pool entrance. Renters must provide their rental agreement and photo identification to gain access. Access may be restricted during busy times.

Waldport is the perfect location for your retreat. Be adventurous and try your hand at clamming or crabbing right in Alsea Bay. Then come home and enjoy your seafood feast on the beach around a warm bonfire.

Great family vacation house!

Overall we were very happy with our stay at this house! We came for my mother’s 50th birthday, with 8 adults, 3 cars, and 2 dogs. The weather wasn’t the best (but we’re from Oregon, so we’re used to that) and that didn’t impact the trip at all because there was plenty of space, tv and other activities we could do all while in the same house all weekend (ping pong, billiards, shuffle board). The thing I was most impressed with was how well stocked with kitchen items this house was— made cooking every meal for our large family also a breeze. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

Beautiful home and location!

This beautiful home accommodated my family very well. Love the quiet location with a short walk to the ocean. Only disappointment was that the monocular in the photos wasn’t there.

Family Fun on the Coast

This house was just the right size for our family! It had a big kitchen and lots of sand toys for the kids, which was great! My only complaint was that the house was clean overall, but the blackout blinds did not work very well. Some of them didn’t even stay down so we had to put a chair in front of them to get them to work. Some of the blinds had this issue too. Other than that, it was great! ❤️

Perfect for families

My family loved our stay at this property. The home and location were awesome. The on-site hot tub and access to the Bayshore Club pool really put it over the top. Private path to a beautiful beach that is way less busy than Newport or Lincoln City.

Peaceful Location Doesn’t Disappoint

The house has a spacious and fully loaded kitchen. Beautiful back deck. Hot tub and grill bonus points. Comfortable spacious bedrooms. Easy walk out the back door to the beach. Great indoor and outdoor property. Loved it! I give give stars because the listing is accurate and the house is everything it says it is. A few things to note: There are no fans (portable or on the ceiling). Not a problem, but I’m perimenopausal and so is Oregon weather. It’s nice to have a cool breeze when it gets a little hot and humid inside. The neighborhood is undergoing construction (May 2023) and quiet hours are 9pm until 7am. Construction starts at 7am on the dot. This isn’t a deterrent since the sounds of the ocean and sea life are a peaceful balance. Fantastic place overall.

Family trip

Location was nice. Someone obviously that area rugs need to be vacuumed. Prior guests had a dog and there was so much dog hair on the rugs and we had to vacuum them ourselves... bad dog smell in the house. We had a 8 month old in our party which made it particularly disgusting. Also, the stairs should have a some type of runner on them. Our 4 year old grandson slipped on the stairs and tumbled to the bottom ... it was a miracle that no bones were broken ... but he was badly bruised. We had to buy ice ... there was no ice in the freezer when we arrived.

Great family space

We had never been to that area and loved the home for our family to celebrate Easter. We loved walking on the beach, using the hot tub, the game room and the movie room and cooking meals. The staff was quick to answer questions and we had such a fun trip. Thank you!

Oregon Coast Vacation

Great family friendly home nestled close to a quiet Pacific Ocean beach. Great view of the ocean from the house. Family enjoyed the hot tub and game room when the weather was stormy. We will definitely stay at this house again.

Friends reunion

The house was beautiful, with an amazing unobstructed view of the grassy dunes and ocean. The big living room was a great room for everyone to hang out in. Bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and comfortable. Great house!

Waldport adventures

Property worked great for our family of 10. Access to beach was nice, plenty of kite flying and sandcastle construction, and we enjoyed the crabbing in Alsea Bay by renting a boat and equipment. Garage game area and lower common TV area were hits with the grandkids -- ages 8 through 15.

Beautiful property with all the amenities for a memorable stay! The Kitchen was fully equipped- the most complete ever! All the equipment, tools & appliances! That’s a huge plus for us. Very kid friendly with kids plates, cups, utensils. Lots of games for them to play for our 9 mos 2 & 3 year olds Quiet & serene Steps away from the beach & beautiful sunsets It was perfect for our Family Retreat 2022. We loved it!

Great property, poor customer service from property management company

Great home. Fantastic location. Only negative (aside from what I'll come to in a second) was that dishwasher in kitchen was not great. Did not work too well and was somewhat broken. This resulted in having to wash many dishes by hand after they came out of the dishwasher. Otherwise, the home was great. Amazing location with great access to a wonderful long and wide and very uncrowded beach. There was an issue with some very loud power washing work being done about 8 feet from the main living area and kitchen for an entire day out of our 5 day stay. The house immediately next door was having the side of the house power washed. Rather than even consider offering some partial discount for that day, the property management company didn't care at all and not only that, didn't even seem to have any sympathy for the situation. It felt like there attitude was "not our problem, too bad." Of course, you can't control what the neighbors are doing, but you can adopt a more customer oriented attitude and perhaps show a little customer service. The amount of money that the property management company is making off doing not much was a lot. Aside from that, the experience was very relaxing and wonderful. I'd go back there again, but I'd probably try to figure out a way to do it outside of having to interact with Sweet Home Vacation Getaways. Sweet Home yes, Sour customer service!

Great trip!!!

We had such a great trip! Sunsets, hot tub, sand, surf, close drive to the aquarium in Newport for the kids…. Great take and bake pizza one night from a place in town. Kitchen was super well stocked, one of the best we’ve seen. The trash and recycling were full when we arrived but I contacted someone and they took care of it in less than 24 hours. Rooms were spacious, linens were nice quality, overall very happy with this trip to include communication, location and property.

Excellent choice for our getaway

We absolutely loved this property. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Everything (kitchen, linens) was well stocked. Plenty of room for our entire group of 11 to play and be together. Short walk to the beach for even the toddlers. Beautiful views! We hope to return some day! Highly recommended.

A few hiccups

Everything was great except the following: Both toilets clogged very easily, the plunger provided was a cheap plunger. We purchased a top end plunger to fix the clogs. We decided to leave the plunger at the property so no further occupants have this issue. Both upstairs guest bedrooms TVs had volume issues. One had volume too high and couldn't turn. It down. The other had volume too low and the remote to turn up the volume would show the volume going up, but the volume itself didnt move. All the showers except master bathroom shower, were clogged and water would back up when someone would take a shower. We purchased liquid plumber to try and fix this issue, didnt work. Overall, our stay was great, just the few hiccups.

Nice home, great beach!

The home is nice, with amazing access to a spectacular beach. Furnishings are eclectic, several living and dining room pieces not exactly comfortable for sitting. We had to switch bedrooms due to a pretty bad mattress in the oceanfront main bedroom, second room's was only a modicum better, but didn't continue the search for a good nights sleep by trying the other two. The TV/sound technology in this home is as good as any home we have ever stayed in - really an 11 of 10.
